Something seemed to actually snap inside of Diana when Kaleb physically put his hands on her. It was the same thing that she had tried to shove down but in that moment – she didn’t see the point in doing that. Shooting her hand out, she pushed Kaleb back again but she didn’t stop there. She closed her hand into a fist as if she was choking him without even touching him. There was apart of her screaming that she should stop – that she could kill him but she wasn’t listening.
Death was both a pleasing and terrifying thought for Kaleb. Though he was often reckless. self-preservation was something he often kept in mind. Ending up dead was the last thing he and his siblings needed, especially when they were down one. But now-- it was almost an entertaining thought. “Do it--” Kaleb said with daring and crazed eyes as he saw the way her fist tightened. His voice was strained and his chest felt like an elephant was sitting on top of it, but he still gathered the strength to make his words audible. “Do it, finish it off!”
thetemperamentalwitch:
“You really think that because you know my name I am going to be okay with you following me home not walking, following me ” She said challenging him almost. He seemed to want her to trust him which only begs to question why he wanted that. That being said, it didn’t mean she wasn’t willing to give it; it only meant he was going to have to try a lot harder than that. “What do you want Kaleb?”
Kaleb stared at her for a moment. He stood there, silent, and allowed the small witch to go on her rant while he crossed his arms. She was a feisty one, he had to give her that, and it was almost cute. But he wasn’t here for cuteness-- well maybe he partially was. The plan involved it anyway. “I’d like ta take ya out ta lunch.” He told her casually. “Doesn’t ‘ave ta be anythin’ serious. I jus’ find ya-- intriguing.”
dirtyydianaa:
Diana looked up as she slowly rose to her feet while flicking her hand out to toss Kaleb back, “What is wrong with you?!”
There was a harsh impact on Kaleb’s shoulder, but with the adrenaline that pumped through his veins he recovered far more quickly than he had with Corbin. A slight laugh left his lips when she asked him that. There were far too many things wrong with him to name and right now he wanted her to use her magic against him. He wanted to feel pain or at least feel something other than what seemed like crippling sadness. “Fight me!” The witch yelled at his half sister as he now used his hands to shove her back.
thetemperamentalwitch:
She was trying to ignore him, god she really was but her was making it quite the impossible mission. Her eyes casted down to where his hand touched hers, stopped her “Why do you want to walk me home? Who are you?! I don’t even know what to call you”
“I’m Kaleb.” He offered up. “You’re Davina.” Kaleb then added, a look on his face that was probably more cocky than it should have been. He wasn’t a fool, he’d done his research on her...found out her connections to the gemini coven. Of course he wouldn’t let her know that-- yet. They had met before, maybe she’d figure that she already told him her name. Although, from he could see she was a smart lass and so he had some other excuses up his sleeve. One of the many things Kaleb prided himself on was being a quick thinker.
Kaleb + being a little shit
thetemperamentalwitch:
“ Yeah, I guess that’s true ” She agreed, he was a stranger who she has yet to determined if she could trust him or not. When he spoke again the girl could hardly speak, with the look he just gave her and the words he spoke … Well, she was still a girl with no experience in the boy department of course it affected her.“I gotta go” She lamely said it was all she could come up with. With that, she kept on walking.
“Sort o’ tha’ way with every new lad ya meet. Well, exactly that way.” Kaleb could feel the distrust she held towards him. Still the witch was looking for a way in. having a girl like Davina wrapped around his finger would prove to be a valuable thing in the future. Especially if his siblings wanted to find another way to raise Silas. “Wait-- “ Kaleb said as he reached out for her arm. “At least let me walk you home.”
bekxhmikaelson:
“What the bloody hell are you doing?!”
“It’s none o’ ya fuckin’ business.”

corbin-blackwell:
Corbin reached out her hands to take his arm, but pulled back after deciding against it. She could imagine the many reasons why her brother would be doing this. Colby, Scarlett’s death, the Silas and binding the circle as a whole, maybe even Corbin’s betrayal. Corbin wanted to believe Kaleb knew it was wrong just as she did. “I’m not going anywhere. Not until I figure out what’s going on with you.”
Weak was what Kaleb felt like now and every inch of him hated it, he wanted nothing more than disappear. Everything was going to shite lately and it seemed that everything that they’d been working towards doing was blown to pieces. A part of him knew that some of the blame could fall to Corbin, but she was the one person he actually cared about at the moment and he knew he’d done worse things than her. Kai was the main source of his hatred, but with him being a heretic now...well, it would take Kaleb more time to find a way to destroy him. “Nothing-- nothing’s going on.”
thetemperamentalwitch:
“ Didn’t know you cared so much about my books ” She said letting his eyes study him thinking what could he possibly want? Her hands held on to the books a little tighter before “ And this make me need you? ”
“There’s a lot o’ things ya don’t know ‘bout me.” Kaleb said a slight laugh, eyes glancing over her carefully. At first the small and hot-headed witch had annoyed him, well she still did, but he after having a glimpse at the power she possessed...one could say he was incredibly interested. “You obviously need me.” The witch confirmed with a nod of his head.
corbin-blackwell:
Corbin watched the person who was unfortunate enough to fall under the blood vomit disappear before she whipped her head around to look at her brother. “Kaleb…” She rushed to Kaleb’s side and dropped to her knees. “I’m sorry, but it was the only way to get you to stop. Are you okay? Just…please don’t be angry with me.”
“Just stay away.” Kaleb harshly spat as he ran his fingers through his hair. It was no lie that he’d been using the other person as his punching bag, a way to let out all of his frustrations and feel the satisfaction of using his magic. Corbin had ruined that for him and so the pent up emotion remained within him, though a small part of him figured it would still be there even if she hadn’t intervened. “Stay away.” The witch repeated.
thetemperamentalwitch:
“Oh…” Davina look on the floor to find that she had indeed dropped one, but when had happened. She bend down, picked it up and her bambi eyes dared to make contact with his “Thank you”
“Can’t be ‘avin ya go ta school tomorrow short one book, now can I?” Kaleb said to her, giving a slight shrug as she thanked him. “Ya ought ta keep a better eye on what you’re holdin’, though. Next time ya might not be so lucky ta ‘ave me standin’ around.”
