âwhat else would you be to me? i donât know your name, youâre actually a mystery, but i do know that you happen to be a avid pokemon supporter and you happen to like me a lot more than youâd like to admit.â he teased, letting out a small laugh before raising his hand and gripping onto the door as he leaned against it. âi think my ego will stay in tact, donât worry about that but that does leave me to question. why are you here? besides obviously missing me but iâll pretend i didnât figure that part out.â aiden liked giving her a hard time, despite them just meeting a couple days ago they already had that dynamic going.
âjust a girl.â she murmured. that whole plain jane thing kicking back in though he had made her well aware that she was far from it. âyou know, you keep saying that i like you, yet i see no evidence to prove your theory.â she shot back, a grin appearing on her face as the words spilled out. âdonât wanna burst your bubble, prince charming, but my best friend lives on the other side of that door.â kassie gestured past him before turning her gaze back to him, looking him up and down before reaching out with her index finger to pop the metaphorical bubble around him, âi think youâre self-projecting and youâre actually the one whoâd been missing me.â

grabbing his jacket, aiden slipped his arms into the sleeves before heading to the door. he didnât have anywhere he had to be but aiden being aiden liked to get out of the apartment. constant breathers were in need when it came to aiden foster. opening the door, he froze before smirking at the brunette in front of him, raising his index finger and pointing at her aiden scrunched his eyebrows slightly. âpokemon girl,â he said, dropping his hand to his side, âi give you props for missing me so much you had to stalk me to figure out where i live.â he teased.
she knew she should have texted or called before heading over. she hadnât been sure why but sheâd just had this feeling in her gut. and now she knew - as she stared back at the devil exactly why she should have announced her arrival before appearing. âpokemon girl, huh? thatâs all i am to you now?â with a roll of her eyes she took a step back, âalways thinking about yourself, arenât you? donât wanna inflate that ego of yours anymore than it already is,â she mused.
And again I have to remind myself that we have never been more than a handful of wasted chances and again it feels like a bullet to the heart to have lost you even though I never held you.
//why does it hurt so bad when you were never even mine to begin with? n.j. (via princessbrittley)
âSavage.â He responded with a laugh. His eyes fell to her lips and he was mirroring her smile instantly. It was a difficult task not to smile when Kassie smiled. âI mean you can just keep smiling like you usually do. I believe in you, you can survive this.â He teased in return, falling easily into their playful banter. The two did this constantly and it was the reason that it was so easy for the man to enjoy being around her. She had a sense of humor that fit his almost perfectly. His hand flew to his chest again at her next comment as his mouth fell open to another gasp. âJust because you werenât there doesnât mean that it didnât happen! I mean - granted, itâs my bad for not inviting you - but that would have been awkward, donât you think?â He laughed, falling back against the couch. âYeah, exactly. So having my wife at my illegal wedding would have complicated things.âÂ
She took a moment to mirror him from earlier, sticking her tongue out at him. âI learned it from you.â Out of all the people in the world Zaya was the one she wanted to learn everything from, to know what went on in his head. And usually she had at least some slight idea, perhaps thatâs why they were best friends. âIllegal? Letâs try a different word that starts with I - how about imaginary?â Kassie leaned forward tapping her index finger against his forehead. âThat entire wedding must have been a pretty nice dream world, hm?â She teased, not bothering to lean away from him, âCome on, Weston, admit that you made it up.â
His jaw dropped but he smiled immediately. âOw, I felt that one deep in my soul, Reynolds.â His hand went to his chest for dramatic effect. Zaya wasnât a stranger to the theatrics - not even a little. âBut if you seriously want me to answer that, Iâd say itâs because you totally enjoy my company.â He licked his lips unconsciously after he responded. The man brought the beer to his lips and took a sip with his eyes still set on Kassie. âIâm a bad habit thatâs hard to break. And as my wifey aka the Queen boldly states - â I ainât sorry â.âÂ
She couldnât hold back another eye roll that came so effortlessly. âWell your heart still seems to be beating so I think youâll be okay.â The grin that crossed her face was one that only seemed to appear when Zaya was around. Though at his next statement she quickly threw a hand over her eyes, âOh man, you caught me. How will I ever go on now that you know I actually enjoy being around you?â Sliding her fingers apart to peek through at him her eyebrows pulled together. âOh please, Zaya, there wasnât a wedding and I would know because I wasnât invited so stop kidding yourself.â Dropping her hand from her eyes she took a drink of her beer, âWe all know that Iâm totally your wife.â
Hanging out with Kassie that night was much needed. It had been a couple of weeks since he had seen her and he was grateful for the time sheâd managed to find for him. He understood that life could get busy, ( his life was pretty busy the moment as well ) , so he didnât blame her. The pair sat on the couch, in front of the coffee table with opened cartons of Chinese, as the next episode of Gilmore Girls started. Zaya cleared his throat as he set his carton of orange chicken down in front of him and then reached for his beer. At a glance, he noticed that the brunette was looking at him with that familiar and haunting smile. Without saying anything, he stuck his tongue out at her.Â

She wasnât sure what had happened, how life had gotten so out of hand. It had all piled up on top of her and then overflowed, and it wasnât beautiful like a waterfall it was messy like a volcano. There was no real beauty in the hot mess until it cooled into a layer that would help it reform itself in the years to come. So she was happy for the time she had managed to cut away from her schedule to spend some quality time with Zaya - seeing as she hadnât seen him in such a long time. Though she no longer found herself mindlessly watching the opening credits of Gilmore Girls (she was sure she could list the names with her eyes closed at this point) instead her gaze was set on the man sitting next to her. With a roll of her eyes she set her beer down, âtell me again why I still hang out with you?â
Is that a new bra?

Alycia Debnam-Carey as Phoebe Halliwell
There was a certain discourse to moving out of your childhood home. Even if you were only a few blocks away. With a box in hand she made her way out of the manor once again, arms already tired from carrying the countless amount of boxes before this one. Throwing her head back for a moment she let out a groan, continuing her walk down the block.Â
She was just about to her new doorstep but an unexpected turn of events only managed to make her trip that much harder - The bottom of the box gave out. Candles spilled everywhere, cracking on the ground as she let the box drop from her hands. âFuck,â all she was trying to do was save everyone around her - why couldnât karma see that? âYou know what, just leave it.â She spoke to the person she heard approaching, no use in picking something up that was broken. Maybe thatâs why no one was picking her up.
Initially, in a most Piper-like way, she scoffed at Phoebeâs words with an infamous eye roll, as if they were the most ridiculous thing sheâd ever heard. But it was the look In her little sisterâs eyes that got her. A look that was so dark, so cold, so not Phoebe.
âWhat the fuck has gotten into you, Phoebe?â She snapped, throwing her a look of disbelief. âListen, dude. If you think acting like this is the solution to the problem, youâre delusional. Thereâs something going on with you, even if you wonât admit it to yourself. All I know is Iâve always had your back, and through most of it all, Iâve always felt like youâve had mine. But this?â She remarked, her brows creasing both in disgust and concern at her younger sisterâs newfound darkness. âThis is something else. And I can promise you itâs not the way we get our family back, if you think this is some sort of game, but as youâve so clearly pointed out I will do my best to stay out of it this time. Youâre on your damn own.â
It wasnât pretty by any means, and it was never going to be. Trying to destroy a relationship with a person who you held so dear just so they didnât have to watch you walk straight into your own demise.
It was going to be easier this way.
âMaybe if you payed more attention you wouldnât have to ask me, Piper.â She hissed right back at her sister. âIâm delusional? If you hadnât noticed Davina doesnât really want to come live with us right now. So while youâre trying to play house you might as well pull Marcel in with her because starting tomorrow you can use my room as a guest room.â It was eating her alive, the guilt that bubbled up from the part of her previous self that was still in there - trying to take every word back that now hung in the air.
âYour family is already here, Piper. You just didnât bother to look hard enough and now youâre going to lose all of them.â With that she stood and walked straight past her older sister, letting the door swing open she only momentarily paused in the doorway - a white knuckled grip on the frame.
âIâm gonna go pack.â

Iâm a slow dying flower Frost killing hour The sweet turning sour And untouchable
âYou left without telling anyoneâŠyou always do this.â Prue bit back her signature sigh of frustration that seemed to always wanted to exhale itself around Phoebe. âYouâve missed a lot.â
She stared at her eldest sister rather blankly, âYou never asked where I was. None of you did.â Her arms quickly folded over her chest, âLike what?â
At least Phoebe knew him enough to know she had messed up, if her lack of eye contact were any indication. Marcel almost felt bad for her and heâd let her off the hook if he wasnât so annoyed by her not even bothering to send him a text as to where she had gone. If she hadnât been spotted leaving the city, he would have assumed Elijah had done something to her and would have acted rashly which wouldnât have ended up well for any of them. âShe definitely doesnât hate me as much as she does Elijah but I donât think iâll be on her list of favorite people⊠everâ Would Piper get over their argument? He didnât know her enough to tell how much of a forgiving person she was, but he honestly didnât care what Piper thought of him as long as she kept Davina out of her problems. âDavinaâ He didnât know if Phoebe found out about the Pandora thing before her departure, but if she did, he knew he wouldnât need to elaborate further on the topic of his and Piperâs dispute.Â
Staring at him with a heavy heart she only wanted to hide away from everyone except him for the rest of her life. It was crazy to think that he would eventually find out what was going on with her - Would he leave again? The internal argument inside of her wasnât going to stop, not until she had an answer but she wasnât about to ask him. âYou were fighting over Davina.â It was supposed to be a question but it ended up coming out as a statement, it wouldnât surprise her. âWho won?â Her face fell as she even posed the question.
