Sherlock S04 speculations - Eurus and the fake Faith

**S04 SPOILER ALERT**

Just finished S04, some thoughts before I forget. Given Faith is actually Eurus in E02 - how much of Eurus’ impersonation of Faith is disguise, and how much of it is actually herself?

Sherlock would need only the note and the knowledge of the secret meetings to track down Culverton Smith. The rest is rather unnecessary. He wouldn’t need to know Faith suffered from a breakup, lived in a tiny flat in a narrow street on the ground floor, loves cooking, has a suicidal streak, etc., to solve the case. And given the real Faith seems to have no idea about Culverton Smith’s crimes and is still in good terms with her father, as well as the fact that Eurus actually acquired the note from Culverton Smith (as revealed at the end of E02), those little things that Sherlock notices in the fake Faith might simply be untrue. Also noting that Eurus does not like being ‘clumsy’ in E03, she seems to be the minimalist type of criminal. The little things about the fake Faith seem odd and out of place, as it does not quite fit into Eurus’ normal behaviour to add so many trivial details to a fake personality.

And so - this is just a speculation - it might be that Eurus is just being herself once she and Sherlock have gone out of the front door of 221B. We know she enslaved the governor of Sherrinford and thus has possibly escaped before. Maybe at some point she did move out to a small flat somewhere, and did have a boyfriend (or girlfriend) of some sort, and then for whatever reason he (she) left Eurus. This then takes us to the question of who would fall in love with Eurus, or rather, who would Eurus fall for? (Moriarty? I don’t find it convincing that Eurus and Moriarty took only five minutes to draw up that Holmes kill Holmes plot, and why would Moriarty send so many video clips to Eurus?)

All these are just my speculation and can be vastly inaccurate. After all, Eurus did say at the end of E02 that she ‘added some deductions’ for Sherlock. But I think I like this interpretation of my own because... This makes Eurus a bit more human. I might also add that Eurus might not notice she is unknowingly slipping these little details about herself being ‘alone’ and ‘isolated’ either, because she is blind to feelings in general and no one had cared to point that out for her before, but her favourite brother Sherlock did. Both Mycroft and Sherlock have a tendency to overestimate the toughness of their unemotional exterior, this is a Holmes signature and Eurus might have it too.

Now that we have seen Eurus... Irene looks awfully like Eurus. The image of Eurus still imprinted on Sherlock’s deep subconscious much? I hope Irene will be fine when Eurus notices her existence, if Euros has not already.

This family trivia is getting a bit too crazy.
