You may think this is the hardest thing you’ve ever gone through. You may spend late nights wondering if and how you’re going to survive this. You cry on the floor of the shower sometimes. You begin breaking down when you can’t remember where it is you put your phone. You look at people driving happily on the freeway and wish you were them instead. You don’t know how you’ll ever be able to live and laugh and breathe freely again. You don’t understand how you’ll be able to stand in the grocery store just to buy a gallon of milk. You will wonder if you’ll be able to live through this. Then you will. And you will be stronger, braver, more compassionate and loving because of it.
