Can we just pause for a moment to reflect on how happy we are that he has not been given the frightening bleached-beard-and-eyebrows treatment for this movie? Because I legit did not even recognize or understand his hotness until The Avengers, purely because in Thor his face frightened me a little.

I would stare at it and think, No. You are too Nordic. I don't believe in you.

And then I'd get distracted by Loki, as I am wont to do because shiny. But I also want to point out that those shoulder... pads? Are never going to stop being kind of 80s. Like, what, nobody thinks his actual shoulders are impressive enough? Have we created some impossible standard of male beauty where even Thor is insufficiently beefy?

I blame the Asgardian fashion industry. I really just think Cosmogardian just has a lot to answer for.
