Hit an art block in mlp art, but I wanted to share some of my original art! Tumblr probably wouldn’t like the uncensored version, so this is the “family friendly” version of my new character Fritha! She is a satyr based off of a Jacob sheep with albinism. I’m currently working on new art of her, but wanted to post this first piece of her.

Hello! Mlp redesigns will continue but I am taking a brief recharge to channel the creativity again. I get on a roll and then hit a mental pothole eventually.

In the meantime, I’m very curious to know if anyone is interested in characters outside the mane 6 being redesigned. Originally I hadn’t considered it, but I might as well honestly. It could be a fun creative exercise!

I’m also going to eventually post some original works because that’s actually my main hobby in drawing, but I did want to delve into an old childhood rabbit hole first.

While I figure out how I wanna design Twilight, enjoy another poofy Pinkie! I imagine she will pull her hair back at times with a headband to see better. Her hair was a blast to do!

Finally got to Rarity! I wanted to lean into the traditional unicorn look with a twist, and I liked adding more of that soft blue accent to her look. Next up is Twilight!

Pinkie Pie is finished and I think she’s my favorite so far! I wanted to mix her curly look with a Shetland Pony aesthetic to create a very sproingy appearance. Also, obviously, you can’t have too much confetti for her.

It’s Applejack time! I decided to do a redesign that was based on a mule for her, and I’m pretty happy with it. I think it’s fitting for AJ with her strong kicks and farm background. I’m debating on who to do next. Feel free to send some suggestions!

Rainbow Dash is here! I decided to go for a simpler redesign for her. I figure that she doesn’t care much about her hair getting messy during flight, but her tail gets some Wonderbolt wrap beforehand to avoid uncomfortable tangles. Now it’s time to figure out who’s next!

It’s time to start doing some redesigns of the Mane 6! I decided to start with Fluttershy, because she’s honestly a favorite to draw. I wanted to keep closer to her original look, but add some cute patches and give her tail and mane cute updos.

(The quality is a little grainy, but I realized I zoomed in real close on my canvas to give myself space… whoops.)

Been seeing a lot of mlp art lately and I got very nostalgic. I decided to do some redesigns of a few of the ones I owned. I’ll probably do more later. Might be planning to offer mlp commissions, too!
