It wasn't a pairing I'd ever considered before they became a thing in the AU future timeline Captain Marvel comics but I'm 100% here for this ship. I'd always liked Amora before too. Also I'm loving how Amora magiked up some ankle wings for herself!

Amora The Enchantress — Captain Marvel #25

I adore this alternate future Amora. Kelly Thompson gives the enchantress more depth than she’s had in a very long time. She’s never been a character that’s very good with self-sacrifice, but it doesn’t feel out of character for her to give up her everything for her son’s sake. It just feels like a natural progression of her character. Despite having helped rule Atlantis, this is an Amora that has seen rock bottom. Her sense of grandure and ego has been replaced with a loyalty to her son, because at one point in her life he was all she had in life. I’ll be sad when this is arc over and we have to return to an Amora that hasn’t been through this development. I hope, at least, Thompson has plans to establish amora as a permanent part of carol’s rogues gallery.

Thor movies would've been so much better if Enchantress was in them like just imagine 2 and a half hours of Loki scheming around being a bastard while Amora is helping him out but she's not really invested in the plan she just has nothing better to do and she's like making fun of his horns and talking about how hot she thinks his brother is just to annoy him. And then in Ragnarok she's part of the resistance against Hela but like she's not really helping at all because that's beneath her so she's just complaining about everything and making Heimdall's life miserable. When Thanos attacks the ship she just turns him into a purple frog and keeps him as a pet. She names him Franos (short for Frog Thanos). Universe saved. The end.

I really hope Amora won’t be in Thor: Love and Thunder. Knowing Taika, he’ll either just reduce her to a crazy-ex-girlfriend caricature, or just completely erase her feelings for Thor because “love makes female characters weak” and the only way to create an interesting female character is for her to cut all ties to her womanly urges and be “one of the guys”.  

Amora is interesting, and she is complex. She has a sister who she cares about very much. She is a master of magic and she fucking knows it, and she took over the entire continent of South America with her very own, self-manufactured army of undead soldiers, and none of these things are cheapened by the fact that she also loves Thor.
