i don’t see this talked about too much anymore, but you don’t have to chose between the labels lesbian or bi….ever. not if you don’t want to.
whether you don’t know whether or not you’re attracted to men (or you do know but you don’t really care!) or you’re not sure if you’re only attracted to nb people when they’re women-aligned. or you technically fit the definition of bi or lesbian, but the word doesn’t feel like “home” to you. or you simply want to leave wiggle room should your attractions or your perceptions of your attractions change over time. whatever the reason, it’s all okay
specific labels can do so much good for so many people but for others it can feel like a cage. if you want to only refer to yourself with broader terms like wlw, or sapphic, or a queer woman, or even just say “i’m into ladies”, i completely support you, live your life in a way and use words that make yourself feel the most comfortable, happy, and free
