Just finished adding decals and weathering this hopper. Represents a modernized Big John hopper. Con-Cor's model close - it is 6" inches short and the end sloops are a little lower. I have to remove the break wheel and support posts, but used parts from another kit to construct a new one.
Finally back at the work bench. Finished up adding decals to this Delaware Valley Airslide. Also added an etched metal walkway from Plano Model Products.
Relettered this Roundhouse high side gondola for DJJX. Just need to find a load for it.
New to the fleet, Con-cor 40' corn syrup tank car. Removed the trusweet logo, then weathered it.
In progress! Soon to be GSM 538. Should look good loaded with ties and running with a couple ballast hoppers.
FINALLY got decals add to one side of these two boxcars. It took some search to find some of the text.

Shared this over on my art page. I think I am on to something.
Another old project finished! I can't remember how many years ago I start working on this Roundhouse tank car. I think it was back when they sold for $5.
Before & After
Purchased this Atlas Beer Can Tank Car from eBay. The red hand rails were just a little too much for me, so I upgraded the paint job. I left the brake wheel the original red.
Playing around this evening and decided to recreate this scene in N Scale. Here's the consist from cover photo of the October 1984 Model Railroader featuring a Murphy Branch layout and how to kitbash a high-hood SD40.
Another 3D printed set of bulk trailers from ExquisiteDiscoveries on Etsy. I know this is more a West Coast style dry bulk trailer, but it should look great on the shelf lay out.
Ordered some 3D printed 1920's vehicles from ExquisiteDiscoveries on Etsy. They cleaned up nicely and looked good after painting.
