I’m probably going to set up a fresh tumblr

I have come and gone from this one so much it has bloated and become inconstant. I’m also a different person to who I was five years ago and need a new blog to express that. 

Most people I became friends with on here I have added on facebook or followed on twitter but if not then hit me up on FB (i’m Badger Hill, the only others are like a pharmacy and a school so its pretty easy to find me ha) or follow my twitter (which predates this actually) at Steam_Badger

This autumn I start down a path that if all goes to plan will last years thus opening a new chapter in my life so I feel I owe some people an element of closure. 

With my life going in a new direction my biggest anxiety is leaving people behind. Over the years of my recovery, which is not over but perhaps on the long road to being, I have amassed some great friends and companions alike. However due to my introvertedness, my social axiety, and my sudden changes on what can appear to be a whim I have a habit of removing myself from their lives for long periods of a time only to reappear later on (this tumblr is the perfect example). I am like a ghost guilty of submarining all kinds of relationships. 

I owe so many people so much yet I have so little to give back in return. So, instead I offer my thanks and apologies.

I am delighted to say that I’ve found one of the funniest lines in Latin. This guy called Columella is writing about agriculture and he’s advising farmers to feed their chickens once in the morning, and then again in the evening to ensure the little beasties actually return to the henhouse so they can be locked away for the night. Since the promise of food makes the chickens return, this will help you keep track of them, he says wisely, nam volatile pecus facile custodiam pastoris decepit - for poultry easily deceive the watch of the man who cares for them.

These past 4 months I have been painting Lord of the Rings. This isn’t even a tenth of what I have powered through. I have also been playing battle companies which is super awesome.
