Using "System" to describe a phenomenon of multiple distinct parts existing within a singular body that takes control at different times is quite literally the most watered-down version of CDDs. It's literally taking the most glamorized and romanticized part of having a CDD, and erasing the disorder aspect of it. Removing the severe childhood trauma, memory gaps, dissociation, and various other debilitating symptoms does not change the fact that you are watering down an exclusive medical term! If you're so hell-bent on portraying yourself as multiple people, there is an amazing thing called role-playing. You can roleplay whatever character you want. You can create as many personas/kinsonas as you want. It doesn't harm anyone to make your own characters, whether they're heavily inspired by a pre-existing one or your own original creation. You do not need to leech off, appropriate, and water down a medical term that will further interfere with real systems, whether they are diagnosed, seeking diagnosis, or are unable to be diagnosed due to whatever situation they may have or be in.
