I think cc!Avid is being a bit hard on himself. Who of us didn't get a little overexcited during a really compelling rp? The magic of Minecraft SMPs is that it's never that serious. No matter how deep, complex, or dark the story, at the end of the day it's just some humans playing with their OCs.

It's been like six months since I posted on Tumblr, uhhh... Oops. Don't have an excuse really, other than the car crash, getting a job, my cousin moving in, and my girlfriend getting sick (she's ok now), in no particular order. I've been posting on my bluesky semi regularly so I'll be slowly trickling the art from those posts and some of the writing I've done in my absence onto here.

When I die, and hopefully that is when I am old

I want to be a sequoia tree

Out living my bones that grow mold

Keep me in protection, looming over etrnity

Strong and immortal tree outlasting even gold

When I get lonely in my old life

Set fire to the ground

I will drop my seeds

Plant something proud

Plant a forest around me

And when my leaves and I finally fall

Make something out of me

Turn me into something you can love

Make something of me

I fell asleep and accidentally took a four hour long nap so spiritually intense that I woke up knowing the secrets of the universe, only to immediately forget them, my name, identity, and what day it was. I am thirsty, as if I have taken a journey to distant lands and am seeking water like a lonely and parched wanderer. I have not eaten, and thus, my bones feel hollow. And I must forage. I am much too awake to justify sleep, and thus, no matter the circumstances of tonight, I will surely be irreparably tired in the morn. Shall my feeble and weak body survive this onslaught of universal and inner torture?

Yes.

But it is nice to be dramatic about it.

It's been a bit since I posted. School was rough, happy graduation to everyone who graduated this year. I'm so proud of each and every one of you.

Wolves! wolves are so cool! and you know what's even cooler? Wolf shifters. I think that people should be able to turn into animals, it's unfair that I have to read books about magical shapeshifting people and dragons and I don't get to have any of the magic myself. disappointed in this reality

I want dragons and shapeshifters.

I think everyone needs to feel a little extra welcome right now. Times are tough, and the world is scary, but even though it is, it can't be so scary if we are all together. Find where you're welcome.
