I'm pretty lax about my formatting, so you can use whatever formatting you want. I'll sometimes use icons, but not always.
I prefer responses to be multi-para or novella. I don't really write too much, so don’t feel like you have to be at my level.
Dark themes won't be very common, but if they are, the posts will be tagged with "TW: [word]" (for example: TW: Depression).

It should've been a simple rescue mission.
Ronnie had been tasked with saving the heir of a major tech company from a group of terrorists located in a remote shipyard somewhere in Europe. The plan was simple. Get in, punch and blast a few bad guys, save the kid, get out.
But things had gone sideways.
Tony, Bruce, and Ronnie had severely underestimated the terrorists' capabilities. It had turned out that the terrorists had been given Extremis in the event a heavy hitter like Ronnie were to intervene; this had increased their physical capabilities. She had gotten through a few of the men with some well-placed punches, kicks, and concussive blasts.
Just a few more, she thought to herself.
And then came the flames. Heat seared her skin, almost certainly leaving behind a pretty nasty burn. The shock and pain had sent a rush of adrenaline through her system, threatening to send her into 'Meltdown'. She'd done her best to fight against it for the sake of the hostage they were there to rescue.
She couldn't get into a comfortable range to fire her energy blasts, and she was still lacking in her martial arts skills, so she couldn't reliably take them in hand-to-hand combat.
Suddenly, it started to become too much. The small worries—the safety of the hostage, the danger of the terrorists, the threat of losing control—began to snowball into a full-blown shutdown as Ronnie's breathing became shallow.
Back at Stark Tower, Bruce took notice of a beep on one of the computers; Ronnie's vitals were getting too high. He was on standby in case things went south. He knew that if this went on for much longer, Ronnie could damage not only the shipyard and the hostage, but herself.
"Oh no… we gotta get her out of there, Tony," Bruce urged, giving Tony a worried look.
"Got it. Sending an evac device now," Tony acknowledged.
In Bruce's mind, he remembered Ronnie telling him that not only would the Hulk never hurt her, but he would also calm her down and be a comforting presence to her during rough times.
"...No, I'll do it," Bruce decided.
"Are you out of your mind?" Tony made a frustrated yet concerned open-handed gesture. "If both of you freak out, the damage will be catastrophic!"
"My daughter is about to explode, figuratively and literally. If anyone can anchor her and tank her, it's me." Bruce closed his eyes and took a deep breath, his eyes glinting a slight tinge of green as he gained a look of determination.
Meanwhile, Ronnie felt herself change as a faint hum filled the air, growing louder by the second. She vaguely remembered how Bruce described her when she would enter this state. Her veins began to glow green, and her eyes glazed over, giving the appearance that she was possessed.
And then… she saw a flash of green and heard the sound of shattering glass, catching the terrorists flying in her peripheral.
Ronnie had gone into Meltdown; her green hair glowing and whipping violently as if wind was constantly blowing through it, her skin pale with glowing green veins, and eerie, pupilless eyes shining faintly.
Her mind was blank. Where was she? Why was she there? Did it even matter?
All her thoughts slowly dissolved into a singular need: destroy.
But before she could, a resounding roar filled the air, followed by a bang.
Ronnie instinctively shielded her eyes from the flying debris. When she looked up, she saw the Hulk looking down at her. His perpetually angry expression dissolved as his eyes focused on her.
"Ronnie… scared," he rumbled.
Ronnie felt some tension escaping her body, but not enough to snap her out of Meltdown. "D… Daddy?" she choked out.
The Hulk gently wrapped his arms around Ronnie, unbothered by the energy sparking off of her. "Ronnie safe now," he soothed. "Hulk stay with Ronnie."
Ronnie tensed up slightly before returning the hug, trying her best to wrap her arms around the Hulk's massive frame. The pent-up energy inside her began to dissipate. She felt warm. She felt calm. She felt… safe.
"Thank… you…"
When she'd calmed down, she'd followed her dad and rescued the kid, safe and sound; however, that didn't stop the guilt from creeping in every so often. She'd nearly blown the whole thing.
She sat on a black leather couch in the Tower, with Bruce sitting next to her with his arm wrapped around her, and Tony sitting in a lounge chair across from them.
"I… I'm sorry," Ronnie whispered. "I… I lost control. If I had known the terrorists were on Extremis, I would've prepared myself more, physically and mentally. Then I wouldn't have had a Meltdown, and Dad wouldn't have hulked out to save me."
Bruce gently rubbed Ronnie's back. "Hey, it's alright, sweetpea," he soothed. "None of us knew about the Extremis."
"And you still saved the kid with minimal collateral, so that's gotta count for something," Tony added.
"I… I should've had a better grasp on my powers, though," Ronnie muttered.
"You're still young," Bruce reassured. "You think I got a handle on the Other Guy overnight? No, I didn't. If I did, I wouldn't have spent so many years on the run. Like Tony said, the heir is safe, so don't sell yourself short."
Ronnie looked at Bruce, then Tony. Even with her doubts and slip-ups, the two still supported her. And then… she smiled.
From a young age, Millie felt like she was different—not just in her behavior, but in how she felt the world. Bright lights hurt, noises overwhelmed, clothing tags felt like glass, and adults called her "too sensitive." When she cried in class or shut down in public, her parents were often told to discipline her better.
At a family member's suggestion, Millie was tested for autism at age 8, though her family struggled to understand what that meant. When she was officially diagnosed, things changed. Her mother tried her best, while her father drifted away.
Millie didn't talk much, but she wrote everything—entire journals filled with her emotions, her observations, and her dreams. She was especially interested in the studies of Bruce Banner and various Hulk sightings, feeling that he was misunderstood and just needed a friend.
When Millie was 14, a man started following her as she was walking home from school. At first, she thought she was imagining it, but when he called out to her and picked up his pace, her body locked up.
Once he grabbed her arm, everything hit her at once. Her heart pounded like a war drum. Her brain screamed to move, run, fight, or do anything, but she couldn't speak or think.
Her skin hardened, her muscles grew. Her bones cracked outward. Her eyes glowed a deep red. She didn't choose to transform—she simply couldn't contain what she was feeling anymore.
In her overload, she threw the man through a fence. He survived—but barely.
When she came back to herself, she was naked in the woods behind a church, shivering and bleeding from her nose. The man she hurt never pressed charges since he had a record, but her community began whispering. Some feared her, while others thought she was faking it for attention.
A week later, the front of her house was spray-painted with "MUTANT MONSTER" in red letters. That night, Millie ran away.
She was found by Storm, who had heard reports of a "hulking girl" who saved a family from a car accident but then vanished. Ororo saw herself in Millie—the pain of being misunderstood by the world and by herself.
Charles Xavier offered her a home. She almost said no, but he told her, "You don't need to be perfect here. You just have to be real."

Powers:
Emotion-induced Transformations: Millie's transformations are triggered by extreme negative emotions, such as anger, anxiety, and fear. When Millie transforms, a chemical known as human growth hormone (HGH) is secreted throughout her body, causing her musculature and anatomy to grow to massive proportions.
When transformed, Millie calls herself Big Me. Unlike Bruce Banner's transformations into the Hulk, where his DID causes him to switch personalities, Millie retains her personality when transformed. However, she's in a state of constant sensory overload. At first, she starts off as nonverbal due to her tightened vocal cords. With training, she slowly regains speech from single repeated words, to familiar nicknames, and later terse sentences.
Big Me speaks in a low but calming rumble. When someone calms her down, she'll repeat their words as a way to calm herself down. She sometimes gets stuck in loops when she's overstimulated.
Secondary Mutation: When completely overwhelmed as Big Me, Millie transforms again into a kaiju-like state known as Redwake. She becomes much larger, measuring at around 15-20 feet, and even gains an enhanced healing factor. She also has a projectile attack known as the Crimson Shatterburst, which is a concentrated blast of unstable bio-plasma fired from her mouth, chest, or hands. Rather than exploding like a fireball, it destabilizes structures from the inside out.
The trade-off is that she becomes more volatile than even her worst days as Big Me due to her mind going through a complete shutdown. As Redwake, Millie blacks out and has no memory of her rampages when she reverts back.

Millie teaches a class at Xavier's school called Soft Resilience, where she teaches other emotionally volatile mutants that it's okay to feel "broken" or "out of place," as well as provides strategies for emotional regulation.
Millie owns a blog called "Gentleverse," a safe haven for neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and other minority groups. She created this blog in retaliation after one of her favorite blogs started posting offensive content.
Millie keeps a weighted frog plush named Sully with her for comfort. She also has a unicorn named Cream Puff with a scented vanilla cake insert and a sparkly, sensory-friendly mane and tail, as well as a whale named Moby for particularly tough days.
I have risen from the dead to present some new things I have been working on.
For starters, I want to give a shoutout to my buddies @neonshrike and @dangerousangerissue for their indirect inspiration (They also have Bretty child OCs, yay!).
So, my current hyper-fixation is Dragon Ball. After watching DBS: Broly, I thought of Ronnie and how I kinda neglected her. I also thought it was a little boring how she was just She-Hulk with some of Hulk's troubles and teenage angst, so I'm going to rework her powers!
Her origin will remain the same: she gets caught in the explosion of her gamma powered Arc Reactor while trying to save a classmate of hers (very Comics!Hulk coded), but this time, she's going to black out.
When she wakes up, everyone is shocked for two reasons: one, she survived, and two, her physiology has drastically changed. Originally, she had a slim, almost lanky stature, but now she looks like she can participate in Miss Olympia. Her short brown hair now comes down in voluminous green waves.
Basically she's Doc Samson if he were a teenage girl.
Ronnie still has the basic gamma mutate powerset: superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, etc. What sets her apart from her father and cousin is her other powers. Namely glowy green energy generation! Basically, not only can she deal devastating punches and take some punishment, she can also fight long range if she wants.
And yes, she does get stronger as she gets angrier. I can see her with whited out eyes and glowing green veins while fighting against Thanos. She still struggles with her powers, as all fledgling heroes do, but now she stands out in a crowd.
As for a new hero name, I was thinking "Radiance," with the name referencing two meanings of the word "radiant:"
1: sending out light; shining or glowing brightly
2: (of heat) transmitted by radiation, rather than conduction or convection

So, I decided to switch Ronnie's birthday from July 8th, 2000 to April 16th, 2000. Why April 16th? Because according to the MCU Timeline, Hulk's "birthday" was on April 16th, 2005. As a result, Ronnie's 5th birthday is considered to be the worst birthday she's ever had.
The day started off great; Ronnie woke up at around 6:30 am and happily rushed around the house shouting "Happy birthday to me!" Bruce woke up shortly afterwards, wished her a happy birthday, and had her open some gifts, including but not limited to a pink Nintendo DS with Super Mario 64 DS from Jen, a Tamagotchi from Betty, and a pastel stuffed rabbit from Bruce.
Bruce then breaks the bad news to Ronnie that if the military doesn't get any results from the Bio-Tech Force Enhancement Project soon, they'll cut off funding. As a result, he and Betty are unable to attend Ronnie's party, but they leave her with Jen and her parents, who are visiting for the weekend. While Ronnie is sad, she's still content that she gets to spend time with her cousin.
Things go from bad to worse when Jen gets a phone call saying that "something bad" happened to Bruce and Betty had been hospitalized. Upon hearing the news, Jen reluctantly decides to cancel Ronnie's party to give her time to process her feelings.
Three days pass, and Ronnie finds out that Bruce is unharmed. The two decide to visit Betty at the hospital, but Ronnie is a nervous wreck throughout the visit. Before Bruce can break the news to Ronnie about what happened to him and Betty, Ross has a one-on-one conversation with Bruce, revealing the true intentions of the project. Bruce tells Ronnie that he has to go away, and doesn't know when he'll be back.
Once Betty wakes up and finds out about her father's treatment towards Bruce, she cuts him off. Meanwhile, Ronnie is a bundle of depression and anxiety. Not only was her birthday ruined by her mother getting hospitalized, but her father is gone with no explanation as to why, unaware that her grandfather is the reason behind Bruce's absence.
What responsibilities did your muse have as a child? Chores? Babysitting? How good were they at fulfilling their responsibilities?
Ronnie was tasked with your typical chores: taking out the trash, washing the dishes, doing the laundry, etc. When it came to laundry, she was good at separating and washing the clothes, but folding them was a different story.
Ronnie dreaded washing the dishes and taking out the trash due to sensory issues (foul smells, wet food, etc.). Originally, she wore gloves to wash the dishes, but realized that more residue would be left behind. So she eventually faced her fear and ditched the gloves.
Cleaning her room was the biggest challenge, since she keeps a majority of the trash due to "sentimental value." This problem was solved when she got a storage shed to keep her sentimental items.

3. What did your muse's family look like? Parents, grandparents? Big or small? Who was around the house when your muse was a kid?
This only goes up to the first Avengers, since they're specifically childhood questions.
For the first five-ish years of her life, Ronnie grew up with both of her parents. Since Bruce and Betty weren't married when Ronnie was born, they would take turns with her, switching out every two weeks. Ronnie would first meet Jennifer and her parents when she was four.
Custody switched over to Betty full-time after Bruce became the Hulk, and he would try his best to support Ronnie in any way he could. General Ross would visit every so often when Ronnie was still a baby, but his visits became more sporadic after Bruce ran away. When Ronnie found out about General Ross' actions against Bruce while he was on the run, she completely cut ties with him.
After the Harlem incident, Ronnie would live with Bruce for a couple of years in Canada and India after convincing him that he wouldn't hurt her. Once Natasha recruits Bruce, the two meet and form a bond with Rosalyn. Custody would then switch over to Bruce after the Battle of New York, with Betty keeping Ronnie every other weekend.

1991
Ronnie Banner makes her comic debut as a newborn in Incredible Hulk #379. She is the result of the pregnancy revealed in Incredible Hulk #342. While Betty is discussing trying to process Bruce's new form as Merged Hulk, she mentions that his presence could be threatening to their newborn daughter, Ronnie.
Ronnie was born with green wings from Betty's previous mutate form, Harpy. At first, Bruce was shocked at the revelation of being a father, and feared that Ronnie would grow up to be just like him with an uncontrollable alter-ego, or that he'd repeat his father's past sins of alcoholism and abuse. With the support of his associates, Bruce was able to set his fears aside and be a good father and role model to Ronnie.
1993
After the events of Future Imperfect, Bruce began to fear becoming like Maestro, his evil future counterpart, and showed signs of instability when referring to himself as "Hulk" or "the Hulk" instead of "Bruce." This fear would get the better of him as it affected the time he spent with Ronnie. Eventually, after Ronnie's second birthday, Bruce reached a breaking point and decided to entrust her to his cousin, Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk.
2001
Rosalyn Sharp makes her comic debut in Umbra #1. Initially depicted as a no-nonsense mutant working for SHIELD. Her powerset consists of dark energy manipulation, invisibility, intangibility, flight, fear inducement, healing, and peak human condition.
Her backstory was revealed in the next issue; she was born in Atlanta, but was given up once her parents found out she was a mutant. She was then adopted by a seemingly benevolent family, only to later find out that they were working for an evil organization that would exploit mutants. Rosalyn would find out the truth when she turned 16, and unleash her untapped potential under a moment of extreme distress, destroying the facility.
This event gained the attention of the X-Men, who took Rosalyn in and trained her to better control her powers.
2005
Ronnie gets her own comic series called Hardy Hulk Girl. The first issue establishes the concept of a now 18-year-old Ronnie, and how she balances her school life with her hero life, which she adopted when she was 15. Her human form gained more attributes of Harpy such as more pronounced canines, the ability to shoot concussive energy blasts, and nails that could sharpen into claws. While her wings are normally hidden in human form, they will spread if she needs to fly or whenever she gets startled or angry.
As Hulk Girl, her wings and claws remain unsheathed, her forearms and calves become feathered, and she gains birds' talons (similar to the above picture, but more reminiscent of She-Hulk). Her strength and durability increases drastically from base form to Hulk Girl form. In dire situations, she can tap into a primal rage and become Savage Hulk Girl, further increasing her strength and durability at the cost of her intelligence.
Despite the fact that Hulk can speak, albeit in broken English, Savage Hulk Girl hasn't spoken, and is confirmed to not be able to speak. This is mainly because Savage Hulk Girl's personality is heavily based on the Hulk from the late 70s-early 80s TV show. Much like him, Savage Hulk Girl has a childlike personality, acts on either instinct or emotion depending on what triggered the shift (Savage Mode can activate regardless of Ronnie's form), and only communicates in growls and roars.
While Bruce's personality shifts are a result of his DID, Savage Hulk Girl's personality shift is due to Ronnie's mind kicking into overdrive due to multiple stressors. Since Savage Hulk Girl is still Ronnie at her core, she doesn't mind being called "Ronnie," unlike Hulk, who hates being called "Bruce" or "Banner."
2008
The Incredible Hulk is released in theaters. While not as popular as Iron Man released a month prior, one of the hottest conversation topics about the movie was the addition of Ronnie. People praised Bailee Madison's performance as Ronnie, calling her "adorable" and "charming."
2012
Marvel's The Avengers releases to critical acclaim. Some changes between the canon Avengers and this version is that Bruce and Rosalyn (who made a cameo in the post-credits scene of Captain America: The First Avenger) have a few scenes together, hinting at a possible romance. During the scene where Bruce hulks out on the Helicarrier, Rosalyn attempts to calm him down. This seems to be working, but it gets interrupted by a helicopter shooting at the Hulk. When he falls to Earth, Rosalyn ends up following him.
There's a deleted scene where Rosalyn tells Bruce about her backstory, which follows her comic origin for the most part, but instead of being taken in by the X-Men, she gets taken in by SHIELD.
2014
A sequel to The Incredible Hulk is released. This time, the movie focuses on Ronnie and her struggles. The plot kickstarts once Ronnie is sent to a summer enrichment program, and has to create a prototype for a device that could improve the world. Ronnie creates a gamma-powered Arc Reactor, inspired by her dad and Tony. While Ronnie is participating in the program, she befriends a young boy by the name of Christopher and quickly finds out that he has cancer.
Prior to Ronnie's presentation, an unknown entity sabotages the Arc Reactor. The presentation starts off normally, but once Ronnie tries to demonstrate the Arc Reactor's capabilities, it is set to explode. Everyone manages to get out safely, but once Ronnie notices that Christopher is nowhere to be seen, she heads back in to try and save him, despite the protests. Before they can escape, Ronnie and Christopher take the full blast of the explosion. Ronnie's frustration at the presentation being sabotaged combined with being bathed by lethal amounts of gamma radiation transforms her into She-Hulk for the first time (the name She-Hulk was used for Ronnie's alter-ego since Jennifer Walters doesn't exist in the MCU, therefore there is no risk of confusion with the names).
Upon recovering from her rampage, Ronnie finds out that Christopher died due to the blast expediting his cancer. Bruce decides to train Ronnie in controlling her anger and eventually transforming at will, but Ronnie is against using her new powers and tries to find a way to repress her emotions in order to prevent any accidents.
Meanwhile, it's revealed that the person who sabotaged the Arc Reactor was Samuel Sterns, who now goes by The Leader. As shown in the previous movie, after a drop of Bruce's blood entered an open wound in Sterns' head, his intellect increased dramatically, at the cost of his morals. His plan was to kill Ronnie as a revenge plot, but it ended up backfiring when Ronnie turned into the She-Hulk.
The final battle would focus on the Hulk fighting one of the Leader's lackeys, Crusher Creel, aka the Absorbing Man. At one point, Creel would get the upper hand, causing Ronnie, who was watching the fight as it was happening, to hulk out and assist her father.
Once the fight ends, Ronnie feels a bit more comfortable with her powers, but not to the extent of Bruce. The idea being that later movies would have Ronnie grow more as a character and accept She-Hulk as a part of her.
2015
Avengers: Age of Ultron is released in theaters. The plot is roughly the same as canon, with a few differences. For starters, Bruce and Natasha are not in a relationship, and Hulk turns back to Bruce in the first scene due to Ronnie's presence.
During the party, Natasha flirting with Bruce is replaced with Ronnie getting to know some of the partygoers, such as Sam, as well as Bruce and Rosalyn keeping their distance, since they're not the biggest fan of parties. When Ultron attacks, I vividly remember a brief bit where Bruce falls face first into Natasha's boobs… yeah, that's getting omitted. Instead, Ronnie runs into Bruce, and they tell each other not to turn green.
She-Hulk goes on a rampage in Johannesburg due to Wanda's mind control and has to be stopped by Hulk and Tony in his Hulkbuster armor (called Jughead here, since Veronica is Ronnie's full name).
After this display, the Avengers go into hiding at Clint's farm. The bedroom scene where Natasha tries to convince Bruce into running away with her is replaced with Ronnie doubting her status as an Avenger.
Bruce is captured by Ultron, but can't hulk out and escape since Ultron gave him an ultimatum: "If I even see a speck of green on you, I'll make sure you never see your daughter again." Once Ronnie finds out about Bruce's capture, she manages to face her fears and hulk out to save him.
Hulk and She-Hulk join the final fight against Ultron, and Rosalyn attempts to calm the two down once the fight is winding down. However, they get attacked, knocking out Rosalyn and She-Hulk (she's still inexperienced, therefore she's not as powerful as her father). Hulk takes Ronnie and Rosalyn to safety and tosses the Ultron clone out of the Quinjet. Here, Hulk does listen to Ronnie and turns it around, since if he left, he would break Ronnie's heart again, and he didn't want that.
At the end, Ronnie confronts Wanda and berates her for her actions. She ends up nearly killing her until Bruce and Clint intervene. They tell Ronnie that even though she still has ill-feelings towards Wanda, they're on the same team now, so she should at least tolerate her. Ronnie begrudgingly agrees, starting an interesting relationship with Wanda.
