part two to this post about senator anakin, but i'm trying to organise those thoughts cohesively (key word being trying)
he'd wear some kind of krayt dragon inspired mask. probably dark and broody vis à vis anakin skywalker, so probably black and matte, but still. i'm talking wavy horns and shit, super dope. it also makes him intimidating for the other senators so they're assuming he's some high and mighty rebel/warlord (and not all of 19 years of hormonal and generational rage)
rivals to friends to lovers anidala. that one political debate scene in the field from attack of the clones but turned up to 100. that is all
palpatine would definitely see the tension between padmé and anakin and use it to try to isolate the guy by having them spend plenty of time around each other. he's probably anticipating that they'll butt heads too much and that the "lovely and welcoming senator from naboo" will set a poor example for the rest of the senate and have him come to palpatine for support or just leave entirely - palpy's plans have thus far relied on this absolute unit in the force to have stayed in the outer rim >:( - but it ends up being a major backfire because then they fall in love.
on that note, since anakin's shadowing padmé, he's also shadowing her jedi protectors. them being one obi-wan kenobi and his new padawan ahsoka tano. one would think that obi-wan would be wary of this bizarre stranger and ahsoka would love his forthright and brazen nature, but it ended up being the opposite. obi-wan was endeared to him, finding the bluntness (which would come across as rude) as refreshing among politicians. it helps that obi-wan defended anakin from an assassination attempt in the dead of night and was the first person on coruscant to see him without his mask. Ahsoka finds him abbrasive and annoying, but will eventually come around.
anakin has some seriously awesome power in this au, probably more than shown in canon purely because he doesn't have the safety precautions as in canon. he practiced his power in the dead tatooine desert and exercised it on slavers, so when he yoinks another would-be assassin's ship out of the sky with the force, lets just say the jedi were surprised.
anakin still loves rex. the clones are so cool in his opinion and he adores hanging with the 501st. fives loves him dearly because "captain, this senator just doesn't give a kriff. like, at all. can we keep him?"
Okay this is probably one of the coolest pieces I’ve made, one because I don’t generally draw characters from up-front, and two because I used a few different materials to make it
Her skin and the shading of her dress are alcohol markers, eyes are permanent markers, sun/halo thingy is metallic pen, and the rest is mostly coloured pencils
Also, if you zoom in, you might notice that there are two different line art colours: black and brown. The outline is black while all the interior lines are brown, which gives an effect I really like
One other small detail is the many different kinds of gold I used. There’s actually no two of the same gold for different elements

Okay I gave up fighting the forces of oc creation; here's my boy Elias, Wednesday show oc. Let’s see how short I can make the lore recap.

In the year 1987, the young Vanisher known as Eos Morn was admitted into Nevermore Academy, at the age of fourteen years old. There, they eventually created links with Gomez Addams, the Night siblings, the Frump sisters, and Larissa Weems.
Eos was an interesting, almost contradictory presence. Quiet yet brash, reserved yet angry and combative. Put it simply, a layered person who occasionally had trouble expressing their emotions.
Early in his life, Morn developed an acute talent and passion for biology in all its forms. Be it humans, plants, or animals, he wished to understand the deep intricacies of life and all its components. This made him one of Nevermore Academy’s top students in the scientific field, almost tied with Isaac Night—though they did not share his skill with machinery. This made the two of them develop a sort of rivalry that almost bordered on friendship—a rivalry where collaboration was accepted.
Their teamwork yielded some impressive inventions in genetics, endocrinology, and more, though it was cut short by the explosion of Iago Tower and the disappearance of Night.
The loss of his science partner seemed to particularly affect Morn, as his behaviour temporarily grew more short and aggressive. It also—it seems—made them cut contact with most of his previous friend group shortly after graduation, though he did keep in touch with Larissa Weems and Françoise Night.
After graduation, Morn, now Elias Morn, followed higher education, now leaning more into medicinal sciences though he never picked a single branch.
In his mid-twenties, he met a fellow Outcast named Rook Ó Corbáin, a violinist trying to establish a travelling orchestra with some friends. The two, despite their differences, became fast friends and, soon enough, partners. Their life together was more than lovely, complementing each other seamlessly.
One day, Elias was approached by his old friend Larissa Weems, principal of Nevermore Academy, someone he cared about and to whom he owed a debt. That care would soon be frayed though, as she asked him to come and work as the school's resident doctor, something he never wished to do. Despite that fact, he was not a man who left debts unpaid. So he accepted it. He didn't have to like it, but it would be a stable job, with funding for research.
Years passed, rather uneventful for a school of Outcasts. That was until the string of deaths around Jericho and Nevermore, and the arrival of one Wednesday Addams.
To sum up a convoluted story, Dr. Morn actively avoided the Addamses when necessary until it became clear that the students were in danger, at which point he tried to intervene and was stopped by various players and circumstances. This would become a running theme in his relationship with the new generation of Addamses.

I’m not going to fully explain Elias’s involvement in the show’s plot because I am not giving myself that headache today, but you can get a few glimpses of it (well, more s2) in the doodles
