"Where do I go now, and where do I start, I don't wanna pick up the pieces, I just wanna watch it all fall apart, like it should, fall apart, like I said I would, I wanted out, but you held me down, and tied me to lies, I told to myself, I don't wanna go through the motions" - Strangers Again by Against the Current Ah. This just, this. It's way too relatable for myself. I hope you aren't ever in a relationship like this, but I have been. I've been tied to lies, I've held on for too long when I should've let go of it, I told myself I was happy, that I wanted it. That this was the relationship I wanted forever because, at one point it had been and we had obviously worked through the rough patches so it was going to be forever. Like the song says I felt like I woke up from a blackout, like I wanted to fall apart with no idea where to go. It's still hard now, but I know it's getting better. "We had what we had, but it's done and I'm over it" is a good way to surmise how I'm starting to truly feel, but some days it's still hard. As far as the picture, I know that Sand Chronicles ends well on their account, but there is a definite period where this is the point of Ann and Diago's relationship, for different reasons tyen the song, but still relevant.
