She's still only 17, and fate has been so unfairly cruel. I think she'll be okay, but it's going to take time.
Let her grieve...
I think a lot about botw with horror elements. Like so:
1. First, it’s the old man. Finding him at strange places at night, although he wasn’t there a minute ago. When you talk to him, the only response is “……………”
2. After the king reveal, you may find him walking all the way across Hyrule Field to the castle entrance. He can’t enter, so he just stares up at the castle, where his daughter is, then disappears for the day.
3. The champions are bound to their divine beasts. When it cries, you hear a garbled noise that might be a voice. Link looks disturbed by it, perhaps recognizing it.
4. After they’re released, the champions stick with Link to assist him. Some people are uneasy around him, asking why it feels like he’s never alone, like there’s someone always watching their conversations.
5. If you linger around important places to the champions, they’ll eventually show up, walk around, stare at everything. And you can talk to them at those moments:
Revali: “There’s nothing of mine here anymore, let’s go.”
Mipha: “I try not to, but I can’t help missing them.”
Urbosa: “I wish I could’ve been there for my people.”
Daruk: “Thank you for letting me see this view again, little guy.”
6. The korok hold onto objects that couldn’t have been from these woods: wooden toys, handmade necklaces, instruments carefully carved into shape. They tell you they’re keeping it safe for the children who lost them. You have never seen a child here.
7. Castle Town’s ruins are always groaning. Under the destroyed wood and stone, under the malice, you hear someone calling for help. When you walk away, you might hear a sob as they ask you why. Why are you leaving.
8. Hyrule Castle is a cacophony of noise, whispers just quiet enough to make you wonder if you’re imagining it. You think you hear Zelda’s agonized cries. But there’s someone else, too. A deeper voice. You try to listen to him, but he doesn’t want to talk to you (he never did).
You are so big brain these ideas are amazing
