does anyone out there in the critical community have any timelines or masterposts on specific viv drama events, both old and new? feel free to link them either in the replies here, in my ask box, or via post submission. images are fine too.

i’m gonna start chopping away at a vivziepop drama masterpost. the goal is for it to be a sort of informative “why are people mad at vivziepop” post for ppl new to the drama/crit community. i know a great deal of the “main” bumps, like the blaire white fanart or the snake tub, but still feel free to toss whatever you have my way and i’ll slowly make my way through everything.

In all honesty.

After seeing my comments, i’ve realized that the only reason that Vivziepop hasn’t been called out yet officially is not because there’s “not enough” information out there.

It’s because people are insane.

I got comments calling Vivziepop’s “snake in a tub” art (you know the ones.) “debunked”. Like- how do you debunk something like that?! How does someone even consider something like that normal?! It’s come to a point where I feel like just moving on from Vivziepop content because the world has gone bananas and Vivziepop drama is very representative of just how much creators get away with these days.

Especially on social media. It’s crazy!

It’s honestly crazy just how much people get away with on social media. How do people get away with supporting Blaire White?! How does Blaire White get away with well- being Blaire White?! -and for so long too?! It’s so insane seeing that Onision never went to jail or that Brandon Rodgers got away with supporting him. It’s just so crazy. Honestly.

What a clown world we live in.

Honestly, while I appreciate the video calling out Viv's crap, if you want to raise awareness of it, that isn't exactly the way to do it.

The background music makes it seem more of a meme than anything, and the text on the screen makes it difficult in some cases to see what Viv actually said/did, let alone the speed that it happens.

Viv deserves to be called out, but callouts should be given the breathing room they need, showcase it clearly, and be accessible for the audience to see how serious it is. I don't think the video in its current form will accomplish that.

Understandable, and thank you for the critique. I might make a remake with different music. But for now, this is the best that I could do. Thank you. It was also originally a “meme but with a serious purpose.” sort of thing. But I can see why that might not work for everyone.
