I think this is the most challenging article I’ve written to date. It may not seem that way when you read it, but this article represents my blood sweat and tears! It tested me to write a balanced story. It forced me to edit like I’ve never edited before. Questions of cultural & racial sensitivity came into play and I had to think about what I was actually qualified to be speaking about while writing this piece.
