1963/4 Studebaker Avanti
It was meant to be a halo car, but it was too little and too late to save Studebaker, which closed down their last American plant (in South Bend, Indiana) at the end of 1963. This one has the factory Paxton supercharger. The body is fiberglass, and this color is called Avanti Turquoise Metallic. Note the trunk-mounted battery.
Antonin Dvořák wrote his humoresques during the summer of 1894, and if this one sounds familiar it's probably (according to music critic David Hurwitz) "...the seventh Humoresque is probably the most famous small piano work ever written after Beethoven's Für Elise".

I don’t know what it is about instrumental Christmas music that hits just right but I can’t get enough of it, this one is definitely a fave with all of the unique sounds and how wonderfully they come together. Give it a listen, I do every year!

We've heard this done by numerous artists, but the version done by Arthur Fiedler & The Boston Pops is the gold standard, in our humble opinion.
These things were nose-heavy and tail-skittish with the 304, so imagine just how amusing they would be with the full-house 401.

A remastered version, in the original 4:48 album length, from their 1978 album Some Girls. If it feels as though it's got a disco-type feel to it, that was their intention at the time. It went to #3 in the UK and to #1 in the USA.

Another tune that was in our furry little head when we woke up this morning. It's from their 1983 compilation album Rock 'n Soul Part 1. The album version runs 4:17 but this video version runs 5:15, and was filmed at 3am under the Brooklyn Bridge.
It's still hysterical. It's from their 4th album, in 1972. We first heard this when we were using an old 8-track tape deck to listen to a bunch of salvaged 8-tracks, and we couldn't believe what we had just heard. After all -- The Carpenters ?
1943 WW2 Beetle, type 87 in wartime livery. It has the 4x4 drivetrain of the Schwimmwagen, but with a KDF sedan body. Â Also known as a Kommandeurwagen.
