In my search for big series to get into after ASoIaF, I read the entire cosmere, The First Law books and now I'm getting into Realm of the Elderlings.
As you can tell, I'm a masochist who likes getting attached to characters so I can watch them go through hell.
I'm finishing Assassin's Quest. VERIIIITTTTYYYYYYYYYY WHYYYYYYY
I'm enjoying The Assassin's Quest, but I'm so torn on if I like that Fitz has very little agency of his own, or that I hate it. On one hand, it's to be expected of a man who never got to be himself, on the other, GOD DAMN IT, FITZ, STOP WALKING INTO TRAPS.

How I expected motherhood to go for Savine, tbh
I have started reading the Farseer trilogy today. I am liking it quite a bit, honestly.
I like Burrich, despite the whole... puppy thing.
Weirdly enough, it reminds me a lot of Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.
I finished The Wisdom of Crowds.
Damn you, Joe. Damn you.

the logen ninefingers cycle
Joe Abercrombie is a master at making me hate characters I used to enjoy.
I'm looking at you, Leo Dan Brock.
Alright, Joe. Give me your worst. I'm ready.
Hey, Book side of Tumblr, I need some help!
I've recently finished Brandon Sanderson's cosmere and I'm about to finish Joe Abercrombie's The First Law series. I like bulky fantasy books with a lot of lore.
Give me recommendations, please? Preferably series with audiobooks, I don't have a lot of free time unfortunately.

I've finally, after a year and a half or so, caught up with the cosmere. Such a bitter-sweet feeling. Now I join the wait for new books just like everyone else.
I'll try to write a more complex summary of my feelings later. But to put it straight out there:
Stormlight is my favourite Cosmere series, Isles of the Emberdark is my favourite of the books. Sunlit Man a very close second.
