The fact that the Buffy and Faith dreams are so relevant in s3 is the most sickening nauseating act ever. Like because Buffy is a show that is in conversation with itself all the time, the fuffy dreams are like the subtext woven in the show itself then presents to Buffy in her world. Like their sweet and gooey moments are confined to both of their minds, incapable of being allowed in the waking world, just how the subtext is woven into the show but never allowed to be on screen “canonically”. They can’t be real but they can be real there and that’s what’s important. It’s only theirs and theirs alone, and it’s all they’ve got. That is how you make a girl insane you see.
