Woven with Magic

Follow our progress on developing our indie game, Woven with Magic! Woven with Magic is a tale of family, intrigue, and magic set in the Free City of Lazenna — a city full of potential and contradictions. It is a city where powerful forces vie for control of the city’s most valuable commodity — Mageweaving; the art of imbuing woven goods with magical properties. In it, great power conflicts, scheming nobles, and the future of mageweaving shall be challenged by a rapidly changing world. In such a city of turmoil, a young mageweaver must overcome tragedy and find their way through a web of conspiracies that seek to take advantage them.

In the bustling city of Lazenna, lies the city Bohora where it houses the culture and community of the arts. Of these arts in Bohora, one of the most famous is the Salamander Playhouse, where it puts on plenty performances from from some of the most talented artisans. People travel from far and wide to get seats at this playhouse to watch each show in awe.

Welcome to Marco's office! Marco, or more commonly known to our main character as Uncle Marco, works in the city of Lazenna as a banker who ends up taking in our main character after their father passes.

Mageweaving is the art of imbuing woven goods with magical properties. Manipulating fabrics in such a way to benefit humanity, giving warmth, transportation, and more. In this establishment, Mama Tessa practices and even teaches young apprentices the art of mageweaving

Happy to introduce another one of our supporting characters from Woven with Magic, Mama Tessa. Tessa is your primary mageweaving instructor and there to give you guidance throughout the game.

The dockside is the beating heart of Lazenna for trade and commerce purposes, making it one of the most active areas in the city. The marketplace is where people can buy, trade, and sell their wares, even hosting some of their festivals.

Happy to introduce a new character, and romantic interest, for our game. Rafa is a handsome and brawny gent who treasures his family, seeing himself as responsible for them. He is a bit wary of mageweaving, but maybe he can fight through his disdain enough to see the beauty of mageweaving.

We are happy to introduce one of Woven with Magic’s main characters and the first of four romanceable characters in the game, Ariana.

Ariana had a tough life growing up, and had to learn to steal to survive. But when she and her brother start to get into matters of far larger scope than they’re used to, will she accept the help of those that care for her, or will she push away even the most helping of hands?
