This mashup means a lot to me.

Back in the beginning of 2021, I had found myself especially burned out. I had just gotten done with a year of COVID quarantine directly after releasing my biggest project I’d ever done. I was worried that I had lost my spark and that I wasn’t able to make mashups anymore.

Then I listened to a song called MAD RAT ALIVE, and decided “hey, what if I made a mashup with this song? After all, it’s a really fun song”

When I finished it, I learned that it would take way way more than what 2020 threw at us to put a stop creation. There were tears in my eyes listening to this silly mashup.

Happy 5 year anniversary, Mad Rat Purgatory. And what a lovely coincidence that it landed on a Monday
