My first #mittens #commission , Sandra sent me this #photograph of the #birchgrove where her mother was laid to rest, and asked me to knit the memory of a #doublerainbow in the sky. I #knit the mittens twice, #knitting a #rainbow so that it is not banal, but speaks of #mother #daughter #bonds is difficult. Here is a photograph of Sandra with her new mittens visiting mom.
