The only problem with a Lizzy Rain vs Zaria feud is that we have to pretend that Zaria isn't a metalhead that definitely ruined her hearing blasting Metallica directly into her ear canal from a young age.

I feel like Zaria could be booked almost similarly to Gunther. Not in the physical sense, but in the way he's been retiring all of these older stars.

Zaria was Sol's last match before she got moved up to the main roster, and it seems like Tatum is going to be moving up after Bash (assuming Zaria retains).

I can see Zaria going to the main roster in another year or two, but until then, she could absolutely be booked as the dominant force to 'push' women out of NXT.

Twenty years ago, we had bra and panty matches, where women were expected to strip down to almost nothing to be sexualized.

Now, we have the Mr. NXT Pageant, where men are expected to strip down to almost nothing to be sexualized.

And I think that's progress.

I'm just gonna say it; Zaria needs to either win the title tonight, or lose because of a DQ or interference. If she loses, it cannot be a clean loss.

Tatum is super over right now, she can afford a loss, especially if it leads to her moving up to the main roster. This is Zaria's first major feud after beating Sol. Losing clean to Tatum could seriously kill her momentum.

I love Tatum, but she doesn't need a title to shine. Zaria's entire character hinges on being able to get a title without Sol. She needs an eventual win for her character to move forward.

If we don't see Zaria coming out at some point spitting fire and pissing vinegar about wanting a title match, I'm gonna be so mad. She's more than earned a push and a title at this point.

Tatum better retain against Lizzy so Zaria can take the title off her. I'm gonna be mad if they hyped her up by having her take out Nikkita, Tatum, and Lizzy, only to throw her into a feud against Nikkita while Tatum and Lizzy go head to head.

Like don't get me wrong, I love Lizzy, I just don't want to see Zaria get buried again just so they can push the new talent. She should have HAD a title, and I hate the idea of her helping to push Sol for so long and not seeing that effort be rewarded.

Also, having her feud with Nikkita is borderline insulting, I'm not gonna lie. Zaria outclasses her in every way and her feud with Sol was main event worthy, easily.
