Flower correspondences- can be used as decoration, for flower crowns, as a fun nature activity (collecting them respectfully, of course), and edible flowers can be used for deserts, drinks, and salads!

Desserts- here’s some witchy dessert recipes, perfect for any picnic!

(Tiny strawberry pies, cranberry pistachio shortbreads, cardamom pear cake, ginger and fig tart, apricot coconut bites, and lavender tea bread)

Locations- fun witchy locations for picnics include:

🌹a botanical garden, floral garden, or any sort of garden (perfect for fae, floral, air, green, life, spring, and summer witchcraft)

☀️a sunny open field/area (probably has wild flowers!, great for air, sun, floral, and weather witchcraft)

🌙⭐a night picnic under the stars and moon! (Perfect for lunar, nocturnal, and cosmic witchcraft)

🌳a park (great for all witchcraft, very versatile)

🌊💧a beach, pond, lake or near any body of water (perfect for water, sea, and love witchcraft)

Other witchy picnic ideas:

Stones/crystals to bring- it depends a lot on location and the general theme of the picnic! But a few favorites of mine are:

rose quartz, opalite, any aura quartz, sunstone, agate, tigers eye, and selenite (especially peach selenite)

Scents- I like to focus on scents a lot during picnics. It can make the experience so much more enjoyable! Location once again plays a huge role, but you can always spray your picnic blanket with essential oils, use strongly scented herbs or flowers, use a specific perfume, or even a specific tea that smells good. Some scents I like to focus on during picnics are:

lemon, orange, grapefruit, lemongrass, strawberry, orange blossom, gardenia, rose and lavender

Bring some little spells or offerings with you! A picnic in nature is the perfect time to do a little crafting, especially love, self care, fae, peace and happiness spells. And you can correspond your picnic with the intent of the spell!

It’s also a great time for devotional offerings and any other offerings, especially fae offerings.

Put together a picnic spell- an entire picnic can be a spell! Everything from location, to drinks, to food, and the extra stuff you bring along can be in it.

Sometimes traditional ways of shielding visualizing doesn’t resonate with some people, including myself at times. Here’s a lil list of ideas i have about ways to visualize a shield around yourself! Whatever calls to you, give it a try! Feel free to add on.

The classic gold bubble

Any color bubble you see fit! Whatever works for you works perfectly fine, so don’t doubt whatever you feel!

Ocean waves crashing & circling around you, hitting away the unwanted energies

Being enclosed in clouds that absorb unwanted energies and dispell them

A tornado of wind, throwing negative energy out of your path

A large, floating mideval shield that moves & expands to protect you from all angles

An enclosed ring of flowers that close up when unwanted energy comes your way, bouncing it right off

A sphere of tree roots enclosing you & swatting away bad energy

Mirrors surrounding you from all angles to reflect energies back at the sender, spherical form or just loose mirrors

Surround yourself in gentle winds that brush away harmful energies

An asteroid belt surrounding you, connected by an intergalactic web to keep anything from getting inside

Constellations connecting all around you, creating a wall to block out the unwanted

Heart shapes enveloping you and only allowing love and happiness inside ypur space

Smoke swirling around you, whatever unwanted energy comes in gets lost in it and is sent back to where it came from later on

Magnets pushing bad energy away before it even tries to reach you

A sphere of ice, freezing unwelcome energy in its tracks

Icicles surrounding you, sharp points that cut through bad energy

Sun rays warming your skin & enveloping you, shining so brightly that no low vibration dares to come through

Please note - though I myself am not a spirit worker, I’ve done enough research and seen enough of other people’s personal stories to say this: spirit work is not always light and fluffy and happy (obviously it can be, but not all the time). Spirits are not all willing to work with you peacefully - some are even downright rude or aggressive.
