I love old westerns and cop shows, especially ones from the 80s. I also really enjoy writing, on the rare occasions I can get my inspiration to stay locked down for long enough to get anything done. Wishing you a blessed day, and reminding you that you're very, very special!
I love the shock factor of Whumpee just collapsing out of the blue and scaring Caretaker/etc. half to death, but there is something to be said for the Caretaker who saw it coming from a mile off and just scoops up Whumpee without missing a beat the moment Whumpee's knees start to buckle
Hello! Would it be alright with you if I write a drabble with my ocs using one of your whump prompts and posted it here on tumblr? It's the one where whumpee calls for an ambulance and leader says they're fine, but whumpee is the one who was shot
Yes, absolutely! All my whump scenarios are open for anyone to use. If you're willing to tag me when it's done, I'd love to read it!
I just finished watching 'Sunday', and if anyone needs me I will be huddled in a corner somewhere sobbing my eyes out with the smoking, blackened ruins of my emotions scattered around me
Was rewatching part of 'The Morning After Job' and just now realized that in the scene where Eliot tackles the fugitive to the pavement, it's really quick but you can hear Hardison ask him, "You alright?" Call me overdramatic but I was reminded all over again of how much I absolutely LOVE their friendship

THIS ONE THIS ONE
sorry i definitely should've been clearer when asking earlier, your writing is very good!
Okay, I'll see what I can do! And thank you so much for the sweet compliment! I was actually thinking that this one didn't turn out as well as I wanted it, but I'm so glad people enjoyed it!
oh crap i am begging for a second half to your most recent snippet i MUST CONSUME SUFFERERING
I'm more than happy to oblige, but I'm not quite sure which one you're referring to! Can you be more specific, please?
EDIT: I just realized you might be referring to one of my text posts, rather than a video like I originally thought. Can you let me know which one you meant?
The mission is over at last, and the Team is finally getting the medical care they need.
Leader is sitting on a gurney while the medic stitches up a cut on their arm, basking in the relief that it's over. Everyone is alive and while it might take some time before they're all back to 100%, no one was seriously injured.
A sudden commotion in the hallway jolts them out of their reverie, and they crane their neck just in time to spot a group of medical personnel go rushing by with a gurney—and there's a familiar figure lying on it.
"Whumpee!" Leader shouts, jumping off the bed and ignoring the medic trying to stop them as they rush into the hallway. "Whumpee! What's going on?"
Leader's head is spinning, trying to figure out what happened. Whumpee had been fine, they'd had the least injuries of them all. They'd been instrumental in getting everyone to safety. Leader had never noticed a thing....
Leader senses someone behind them and turns to come face-to-face with Teammate.
"What happened?" Leader demands desperately. "They were fine, they were good, they—What happened?!"
Teammate's eyes are shiny with unshed tears, raw fear in their expression. "I don't know. One minute they were standing there, waiting for the medics to get done with me, and the next, they—they just dropped."
Leader's mouth has gone dry. "How bad?" they whisper.
Teammate shakes their head, a few tears slipping free and trickling down their face. "The medic said something about massive internal bleeding, shock, surgery—it's bad, Leader."
Name one show that has really good whump that you feel like no one knows about!
Mine is The Magnificent Seven TV series.

okay but what about injured!Whumpee that's been rescued but isn't back to safety just yet
maybe they're hiding an injury from Caretaker so they don't stop running to treat it and such a decision eventually proves to do more harm than good.
Caretaker lets Whumpee take a moment from time to time so they don't simply pass out on their arms.
Caretaker can feel Whumpee growing tired and weak by the minute, slipping from their arms more often than not, and can only hope they'll get back on time.
Caretaker keeps encouraging Whumpee to stay awake: "Come on, Whumpee." "Stay with me." "Eyes on me!" "Please don't close your eyes..." "We're almost there!" "I won't lose you too, you hear me? I won't!"
Caretaker has to change the way of carrying Whumpee from one of their arms around their shoulder to piggy-back carry or even bridal style after they gradually slip out of Caretaker's grasp and fall to the ground.
or, it's only once they get to safety that Whumpee feels their legs giving up under their weight, but Caretaker's there to catch them before they can even touch the floor.
they've had field care (either from Caretaker or they've done it themselves), but have to continually fight their way through enemy territory and end up worsening their injuries (torn stitches, bleeding through bandages, broken bones shifting {e.g. broken ribs/punctured lung my beloved}, etc.)
Caretaker/Teammate(s) having to keep Whumpee quiet while they're hiding from Whumper(s)/Villain(s)/etc.
lying to Caretaker about the severity of their injuries because they don't want to slow down and risk Caretaker getting captured because of them
if the 'getting-back-to-safety' process is a long one, infection could set in
Caretaker can't accept help from anyone who offers because they're still in enemy territory and don't know who to trust
role reversal: Caretaker is injured trying to get Whumpee to safety and Whumpee is forced to take over despite the severity of their own injuries
Whumpee is stuck with inexperienced Caretaker and has to guide them through caring for [Whumpee's] injuries
Caretaker/Rescuer is a former-enemy-turned-ally, and Whumpee really doesn't want to trust them but has no other choice
a secondary whump event occurs (explosion, vehicular accident, a fall, natural disaster, etc.) occurs which only worsens Whumpee's condition
the endless emotional angst possibilities between Caretaker and Whumpee
I was so disappointed while watching The Long Goodbye Job because in the scene near the end where Sterling is taking Nate to the transport van, there's this blonde woman who ducks between the two of them and I was so sure it was Maggie and that she was gonna be part of the con, but then the episode ended and she never showed up 😭😭😭
