so i was gonna respond to you on the post. but then the response kept getting longer so i thought i'd kinda just.... make a new post???? lolol (because i've been playing since december of 2016 and consuming all kinds of content since then)
i will be using canon lore and let you know when i deliberately ignore lore (it is canon that when survs die, they lose all their memories of the time in the fog to make every death 'fresh'. this is ignored in fandom because it would be so difficult to make a continuous narrative while adding in the stress of trials)
the blighted serum was made A THING™ with the introduction of the blight. Talbot Grimes. blight is known to get high af on the stuff right? from here i'm gathering that this means the substance is addictive. either because it is and does something to the killers more than physically 1, or because it mutates his body in a way that he enjoys 2, or because withdrawal is a bitch 3.
we DO know that it altered grimes in such a way that he became the blight. we also know that it has the potential to do this to the killers. the pervading theory is that it makes them MORE of what they already are. this is the big reason why huntress is thought to be some kind of wer creature (hare, wolf, elk) because her blighted skin shows her very furry. the legion is ALL of the legion. etc. furthermore, wesker agreed to the use of the blighted serum to see the effects (whereas all the other killers were forced into the process).
i would also argue that it alters their minds a bit. grimes is no longer the alchemist he used to be. because he is MORE of whatever he is, he is diminished in his mind.
as this applies to ghostie: danny is possessive, obsessive and destructive. i fully believe danny would 13 ghosts his victims if he could because he wants to OWN them. even in death. a blighted danny would amp these 3 things up to the max. if i'm shipping ghostfield (because of course i am), these would be directed at dwight EVEN MORE than they already are. this would involve sex and killing. i don't know that it would be a little blue pill, but i don't think he would stop. i think he would just keep going until dwight couldn't and then likely kill him to possess even that.
blight is altered physically from the serum. his jaw is evidence of this. we see this in all of the other killers too. but grimes seems to be the only person that continues to use the serum. the others only have it used on them and don't seem to partake in any of the lore (aside from wesker but that's only mentioned once)
i can't imagine danny liking losing his cognitive function. even for being MORE of what he already is. i don't know if he would have the mental capacity to ENJOY obliterating dwight, because it would be a NEED to OWN him more than a "let me blow your back out" kind of thing. (i also can't imagine danny ever getting drunk or high. though he would absolutely LOVE to encourage the people around him to do both. to watch them. to observe them. to own those moments too)
blight constantly reinjects himself with the serum. withdrawal has to be TERRIBLE (re blight: imagine him suddenly really FEELING that his bottom jaw is GONE). i can't really see danny going through this willingly either. but this lack of feeling in his jaw makes me think that in a sexy situation, danny isn't really FEELING the orgasm? it's less about SEX and more about POSSESS
i think it's a sex buff physically, but danny can't FEEL the good of sex. only dwight gets to feel that. it is not a sex buff mentally either.
but dwight? in this situation? some of the best, most unrelenting dicking he's ever had. overstimulated and unfunctioning. but dwight's a bit of a bleeding heart (in my mind) so while he may have enjoyed it, he would talk to danny after and he would feel bad that danny didn't necessarily enjoy it. but danny, being danny, would reassure dwight that any time blight manages to get him with the serum, dwight is more than welcome to find him again
