like yes aubrey plaza is hot but also. maybe dont ship a man with the woman who manipulated and gaslighted him, drugged him, possibly raped him, framed him for murder, psychologically tortured him, kidnapped his mother and had him sent to prison where he experienced severe trauma. just a thought.

Next I'd love to send some good vibes along to @flightsofwonder despite them not writing for CM. As stated in my bio, my main blog is for The Old Guard and it's those works that brought me to them!

I apologise for any mistakes and the length of the post without a cut. I'm on mobile so I don't know how to do it. (Also, very sorry, didn't ask about pronouns. In the post I just use they/them but I'll correct it if they would like me to)

Anyways, I found them after reading a fair bit of their Yusuf angst. At least from what I saw, not a lot of people wrote Yusuf centric angst so when I found them I just had to follow them on here and keep up to date! They have works for other fandoms as well though I don't think I've read any of them but if they're like the ones I read they're amazing too.

I think the most memorable works to me by them is the Deaf Yusuf AU. I enjoy writing but I've hit stop on ideas especially for TOG and when I found that AU I was like "huh. What an idea!" And it certainly is and they really explored it well. It was sad, it was personal, it was so superbly well written I felt like I had experienced what they were even though I never have. The brief issue with Nile? Heart wrenching. It's an AU with a few works to its name and if I'm right, some more stuff to come (bless them). I would definitely recommend you check it out!

They've also got some great Whumptober works from this year which were a blast to read. The author really captured who they are and added things that fit just so well. The team dynamics were put into words so flawlessly. The way Nile works with Nile, the way they fit together in the authors works just feels so real.

Sad to say, I can't really focus anymore but I really want to post this so it may not be the best, sorry. But definitely check the author out if you like TOG, even if Yusuf isn't the one you want to read about, they have works focused on the others too!
