May 2018 After a long string of instrumental releases, I teamed up with singer Nicola Zanatta to craft an album of baroque-pop tunes. Sun Came Down and so Did I is the first WSC album to feature vocals. There are still a couple of instrumentals that keep a link with the past (the piano/strings driven Into the Beehive and the closing quiet jazz ECM styled Song for Polly). The album often rely on strings sounds, sometimes electronically treated, but mostly focus on song-writing: from the dark tinged ballad Monotonic Haze (reminescent of Velvets, Dead Can Dance, Nick Cave) to the electronic rock of Dark Monsoon Clouds. From the Neil Young-esque Come and See to the cabaret-rock of Rain is Falling Down, or the jazz harmonies of Wave After Wave. After producing a lot of computer generated music it was pleasant and funny to just sit down, write, rehearse with Nicola, who is a gifted singer, and finally recording the whole thing. Finally working on a new album with vocals!

Hello all I'm in the process of transcribing (write out music notation) many of my old and new tracks. In this new section you will find sheet music in pdf (staff, chords chart and tablature where applicable). For the most part transcriptions are fairly accurate. On few occasions I had to simplify some parts, while I felt to "embellish" some others. It is a work in progress, so more scores will be added in the future.
