it had long since been proven that mckenna could take care of herself, but there were also moments that she required a bit of help, and she didn’t have an easy time admitting that. with her arms full of different maintenance tools, considering she needed to fix some of the shelving in the stockroom, she hobbled over to the person she vaguely recognized as a coworker who must have been on break. motioning with her head towards the door, she raised her brows in anticipation. “well - can you help a girl out and open the door, or what?” the brunette asked with a huff, a small smirk slipped across her lips as she came across a bit more polite now.
Ethan chuckled lightly while talking to his son and babysitter on Facetime while he was on break. “Yeah, he should have a bit of homework, but I can help him with that once I’m home,” he mentioned towards the babysitter before looking up curiously once hearing the question. He chuckled softly and quickly waved to his phone. “Let him know that I’ll be home soon,” he hummed as he hung up before hurrying over to help and open the door for her. “Sorry about that, do you need any help with those other than just the door or are you okay?” he asked softly while holding it open.
