moving this point from my tags, I’ve noticed a LOT of white people, specifically ww, sensationalizing the fuck out of this or talking about how their stomach didn’t turn at all while watching/they weren’t grossed out and it’s really telling. dahmer’s victims were majority Black, the youngest was a 14 year old Asian boy, and the callousness/complete lack of compassion or even common sense y’all treat this with rlly just exposes your own fucked up biases. again. like we get it, the suffering of men and boys of color is just entertainment for y’all.

I have tried (and will continue to work on) when I have the strength, to find a way to get people who need financial help on this site for whatever reason to be able to have an audience such that they get more money and don’t have to reblog or to vomit their intimate life as much.

But personally, I’m spent(I have severe OCD). I need clothes, I need food, I need time to rest and we are in a capitalist world in which you have to buy time. I also need art supplies, money for transportation, and money for basic toiletry. I don’t have a goal, because of lot of this is something I’ve asked for a while on different platforms and the needs accumulate. My P*p*l is [email protected].

If you feel like people in your digital/physical communities have more urgent situations to be taken care of, please do take care them.

Ok so I've found a way to describe what Neurodivergent Can't Do Task Mode™ feels like to neurotypicals

So you know how you can't make yourself put your hand down on a hot stovetop? There's a part of your brain that stops you from doing that? That's what Neurodivergent Can't Do Task Mode™ feels like

Even if we want to do it, there's a barrier stopping us from doing it, and it's really hard to override

And why does our brain see the task as a hot stovetop? Because when neurotypicals finish a task, they get serotonin, but we don't get that satisfaction after completing a task. A neurotypical wouldn't get serotonin from putting their hand on a hot stovetop, it would just hurt. When we can't do a task, it's because our brain knows that the task will hurt (metaphorically) and wants to avoid that.

It's not that we're choosing not to do the task, it's that our brain is physically preventing us from doing it.

Neurotypicals can and should reblog but please don't add anything

Oh that’s a great example. It’s not even really a metaphor in some cases. Because this is exactly what some of our brains are doing. For one reason or another the brain thinks that the task in question is dangerous or harmful and the mechanism keeping us from doing it is a survival mechanism.
