I just informed my parents I’m unable to go back for thanksgiving. Anyone still in campus and would love to adopt me for the weekend?
I could! i don’t know how good of a parent I can be, but all i know is that you won’t have a bed time.

It sounds fun to me, honestly. I don’t think anything can beat out Thanksgiving dinner, but Chinese takeout is definitely a close second. Or tied for first. It depends.

They didn’t let you eat whenever you wanted? I mean- we had set meals and everything, but we were always allowed to go in the kitchen and cook whenever we felt like it. Oh god, I couldn’t imagine not doing that. Not that your parents being strict was bad! I’ve just never heard of that before- I’ll stop talking, oh my god.

I think you’re safe to eat dinner at any time of the day. I mean, that’s the code I live by, anyway.

There’s nothing wrong with that! You did something productive, that’s cool. I literally sat inside the entire weekend and finished a season of Once Upon A Time and my butt’s a little sore, honestly.
Thankfully I brought some. I feel like I just came out of hibernation or something.

It was for my intro to art history class, so I don’t know if you could help much. I mean- Not that you’re not smart in art. I don’t know if you’re smart in art. Are you smart in art? Art doesn’t sound like a word anymore.
I think I do too. There’s not a lot of beaches around here so I have to wait a little while before I can do that again. Unless there’s an indoor pool that needs protecting! But then there wouldn’t be much of a point for putting sunscreen on my nose and that just completes the look! Really? That’s so cool that your family followed! Do you see them a lot? We should! Or I mean I should because I don’t expect you to invest money in my personal warmth. But my day is good! I just got out of practice. How about yours?
We could always get you one of those tanning laps to hang over your lifeguard’s chair, then you’d still need the sunscreen. You’d just have ignore the funny looks you get and remind them that you’re from Hawaii and the sunscreen nose in mandatory in order to save lives. I know, I’m so happy they’re close. I do! I go over to my mom’s practically every weekend. You’re more than welcome to come with one day if you’re in the mood for a hoemcooked meal! I mean, if it’s not weird for me to offer that, you know. But what if I was planning a surprise? Ooh, you’re starting up practice? When’s your first meet? I really want to go to one. I always love going to watch things I can’t do, it makes things more interesting. It’s good! Other than the fact I lost a piece of paper out of that packet. I’m just really hoping it didn’t have anything important on it, oh god.
