Lingering Stares

Another favorite thing of mine about Hudson and Connor are the lingering stares that they give each other.

You know when they look at each other just a little longer than normal and just a little too long for these looks to be just platonic.

The way their faces soften, a sweet, almost shy smile appears and their eyes begin to sparkle while they look at each other♥️.

And they are so mesmerized that they forget that they are in a room full of people. Or in front of a camera.

These little moments are so so telling and make the love between them and the intimacy and depth of their bond so so obvious 💓

So after the initial pictures of Hudcon night strolling on Tuesday July 28th were posted yesterday afternoon, but before we got gym boyfriends, the inevitable JJ article dropped (thanks for the link, @holls24) . Note that I am in CEST so the times look weird.

“Back together and hanging out” after their reunion. I bet it was an emotional one! 😜

And here is WHY - they wanted to reinforce the public facing “gf” vacation.

Anyway - noted. I will add more articles, which inevitably will underscore their best friendship. I do hope we get more references to “sexy wrestling” bc there will be a hell if a lot of THAT going on now that they’re living in the city where it all began!

They want to be out and about.

They are okay with being seen. They know how to hide, they know how to move in case they didn't want us to notice them, but here they are. They actively chose for us to see them and they are definitely aware of people taking pictures, even when they actively say no when one asks them for pictures directly. If they wanted things differently, we wouldn't see them at all. We wouldn't even know about this until maybe 3-4 days later when a random airport pic pops up.

They know we see them and they made the decision to be there anyways. Things have changed and I am so happy to be able to witness it. 😇💕

I could write about this for days, however.. I’ll try to be succinct.

To get the obvious out of the way… before I dug into them at all? Look at them.

I love my best friend, but I ain’t doing all this… never..

(Not being able to tell exactly what he says at the end? It haunts me. HAUNTS me.)

And if you watched SNL? That’s an entire episode of I Love My Partner on national television. The body language! The physicality! The glow of love!!

Met Gala was… well, that was the buzziest thing i’ve ever seen. They flew so close to the sun that it triggered after-effects that we still notice and discuss now.

But we’ve seen all the “they love each other so much” evidence, so I won’t re-hash it all. It could be platonic.. flirting.. If you want to see it that way. Could they just be friends that are attracted to each other? I understand why some people think that, too.

For me though…

I’m going to irritate the hell out of some of you, and I’m sorry for that. But there are reasons why I maintain the following:

They are committed to each other. They go on dates. They are physically romantic. They have coordinated plans that are unique to them, that look funny only to us. They have a world that is specifically their own, that we do not see.

I can’t share my notes, complete observations etc. Honestly, it feels too personal. It is.

But if they somehow aren’t in love? Baby, they are doing it alllll wrong because they act like it. All the damn time.

Every “blind” we speculate on? There are patterns. The few details and stories that I personally have no reason to doubt? (And you know I vet them.) They don’t move through their lives like a pair of friends. They do not.

The PR shit, the rumors, the comments and jokes their own peers make, the open secret of it all..

That’s a couple, babes! When you put on that lens almost everything falls into place. Curious 😏

Necessary sidenote: if you believe in tarot, energies, etc? Holy shit. There’s never been a pair that screamed WE ARE IN LOVE! as loudly as these two. Repeatedly. All the time. ✨
