wow i used to paint...

this year i wasn't even sure i'd participate in artfight; i haven't been drawing in a long time, i had some thoughts abt my relationship to art, i'm also employed now... i didn't manage to draw ref sheets for other characters i wanted to add. but i guess in the end i didn't want to miss out so i joined and managed to actually make two things at first and it was almost a painless experience... i wasn't afraid of the recipient's reaction even. then i got more invested but didn't really have that much time so in the end i've made only six attacks. couldn't figure out one revenge... and didn't have the time for doing revenges on last minute attacks on me lol.

forgot abt this one. i want to say it's from january... this one was abt going through my pinned photos (evil webbed site) and sketching them in slow, deliberate strokes. different from my usual squiggly mess.

hiiii... i'm on tumblr sporadically these days (since october or sth) and since i got hired i had very little energy to do any art.

but i managed to finish one mini since then. i wanted to take better quality pics of everything i've sculpted so far but i gave them all away lol so it would be kind of difficult to do.

so here's a compilation of what i've figured out so far🤏

they're all made of air dry clay and painted with acrylic paints... (though i'm discovering that the paints made with painting minis in mind work best. so i might switch brands soon). i also varnish them with matte acrylic medium.

once again in an art funk, the state of i'm unable to paint and i will never draw anything ever again.

i sculpted a few figurines. worked on a couple of dolls too.

i should take good quality photos and post some of my works... (if i want to succeed at it i think i need a structure. use the journal again. set a time to do it. make it a regular occurence. same with art. if i can't do shit then maybe do some fucking studies. work on composition. draw faces. bodies. draw the emobiographical comic)

creative plans for this year include:

sculpting a small doll

finally customizing those monster high dolls i got for myself recently

painting and making hair for The Big Barbie

making a beholder figurine for my friend

other animal figurines for friends and family

crocheting something... so far im working on the world's simplest rectangle that is supposed to become a hat (i'm learning crocheting bcs i want to eventually make clothes for my dolls)

drawing several of my projects that i keep forgetting i want to make: a selfportrait as an employee rendered as a wound man; monster high but masc; au where there was a polish fashion doll and it was a big brand

i want to try making paper mache masks...

i need to learn blender. either make something for the sims 2 or i could sculpt lowpoly animals or someshit

design and print stickers (probably barbie themed or sth)

sculpt pusheen...

sculpt a sylvanian baby... perhaps make a sylvanian sicko

finishing a portrait for gossamer so i can put it in game...

i still have those loose sims2 projects going on... remaking video game characters + making low effort custom content for them. except it's a lot of effort turns out.

first line shouldn't have been a bullet point but editing text using touchpad only (hell issues with mouse) is difficult

i could also add "i should learn how to sew" or "i should finally make that miniature furniture for my doll-samael" and also "i should really start reguarly taking photos of the stuff i make" but those are tall orders.

also. should go through my notebook and see other ideas i noted down. i need to keep things in one place bcs everyday i wake up and forget i ever wanted to do anything.
