Not my artstyle switching up 24/7... ANYWAY MJ, Peter, and their daughter Mayday! I really needed to work on MJ the last time I drew her, and I'm quite proud of how she looks now!
Back with some more Mayday outfits! Along with making her very own Spider-girl homemade costume!
Tales from the Ditko-Verse Episode 1: Peter Takes Charge
The first day at Midtown High had been one long headache for Peter Parker.
Not because of the classes.
Not because of the homework.
Because of Flash Thompson, Harry Osborn, and Gwen Stacy.
The three of them had spent the entire morning acting like they owned the school.
Flash swaggered down the hallway like a movie star. Harry smirked beside him, eager to laugh at every joke. Gwen leaned against a locker, arms folded, watching the proceedings with an expression that suggested she found the whole thing amusing.
Then came lunchtime. Peter quietly sat at a table with a sandwich and a science magazine. Flash immediately spotted him. "Hey, Parker!" Flash called. "Reading another one of your nerd books? What are you studying this time? How to talk to human beings?"
Harry nearly choked laughing. Gwen smirked. Peter slowly lowered his magazine. "Actually," he said, "it's an article about primitive life forms." Flash grinned. "Then why aren't you taking notes on us?" "Oh, I am."
Harry blinked.
Flash frowned.
Peter continued.
"The article says some organisms survive by making lots of noise and hoping nobody notices they aren't very useful." Several students nearby snorted. Flash's grin vanished. "What's that supposed to mean?" Peter folded his magazine. "It means you're basically the scientific equivalent of a peacock with a concussion."
The table erupted with laughter.
Harry looked horrified.
Gwen raised an eyebrow.
Flash stepped forward.
"You got a lot of nerve, Parker." Peter stood up.
He wasn't angry.
He wasn't scared.
He simply looked tired.
"Flash, you've spent all morning telling everyone how great you are." "Because I am." "Really?" "Yeah." Peter nodded thoughtfully. "Interesting." "What's interesting?" "Well, usually when somebody's important, other people say it for them."
A chorus of "Ooooh!" echoed through the cafeteria. Harry's face turned red. Gwen bit her lip to keep from laughing. Flash pointed accusingly. "You think you're better than me?" Peter shrugged. "No. That's the funny thing." "What?" "I don't spend nearly enough time thinking about you." The surrounding students burst out laughing again. Flash opened his mouth.
Closed it.
Opened it again.
Nothing came out.
Harry jumped in. "Well, at least Flash isn't some weird loner." Peter looked at him. "Harry, you agree with everything Flash says." "So?" "So if Flash jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge, you'd ask if there was room for two." Even louder laughter. Harry looked as though he desperately wanted the floor to swallow him.
Gwen finally pushed herself away from the locker. "Alright, Parker. You seem pretty confident today." Peter smiled politely. "Not really." "No?"
"No. I just got tired of people acting like they're the cocks of the freaking walk." "So what?" Flash retorted. This made Peter grin. "It means some people think being loud makes them important when in truth, all you really know how to do is blow smoke...and not from your ears."
He calmly picked up his tray and flounced away without saying another word. Behind him, the cafeteria exploded into laughter. Flash looked furious. Harry looked confused. Gwen watched Peter leave. Then, despite herself, she chuckled. "Well," she admitted, "the nerd's got a point." For the first time all day, Flash Thompson had absolutely nothing to say. And somehow that was the loudest thing in the room.
Liz Meets the New Osborns:
The penthouse was quiet that afternoon, sun spilling through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Harry bounced slightly on the balls of his feet, excitement radiating from him like a current.
Harry: “Guys! You have to meet her. She’s… amazing. You’ll love her!”
Karla, perched on the sofa with a book in her hand, raised an eyebrow, a small smile tugging at her lips. “Who’s this amazing person, kiddo?”
Harry grinned, practically vibrating with anticipation. “Liz. Liz Allen. She’s… well, just wait. You’ll see. She’s smart, funny… and she gets me. I really want you guys to meet her.”
Norman, standing near the bar and cleaning his glasses, watched Harry with a mixture of curiosity and pride. “Alright… lead the way, son. But I expect manners.”
The Introduction
The door opened, and Liz stepped inside, her smile bright, confident, and slightly nervous as she took in the penthouse and its unusual, slightly chaotic decor.
Harry rushed forward. “Liz! Mom, Dad—uh… I mean, Karla, Dad… this is Liz!”
Karla rose gracefully, her smile warm and inviting. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Liz. Harry’s told me a lot about you.”
Liz’s eyes widened slightly at the nickname. “Mom?” she asked, a playful tilt of her head.
Harry’s face turned bright red, and Norman’s lips twitched in amusement. “Yes… that’s… Karla,” Harry stammered. “She’s… kind of the best.”
Karla’s eyes softened as she extended her hand to Liz. “And I can see why Harry likes you so much. You seem wonderful already.”
Liz shook her hand, laughing softly. “Thank you. I’m… really glad to meet all of you. Harry’s told me about some of your adventures—he says you’re both amazing.”
Norman cleared his throat, offering a firm, approving handshake. “And I’m glad you’re someone Harry trusts. That matters more than you know.”
A Heartwarming Moment
Harry practically bounced with pride, tugging Liz gently toward the living room. “See? I told you! You get along already!”
Karla and Norman exchanged a glance, subtle smiles on their faces. Watching Harry beam with joy, seeing him eager to share this part of his life, they both felt a quiet swell of pride.
Karla (softly, to Norman): “He’s happy… and he’s choosing to share it with someone. That’s huge for him.”
Norman nodded, voice low. “It is. And it means he trusts us… and trusts himself. That’s all we could ask for.”
Harry plopped onto the sofa next to Liz, grinning from ear to ear. “See? Mom, Dad, she’s perfect! I knew you’d like her.”
Karla’s hand found Harry’s shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze. “I think you did good, kiddo. She seems wonderful.”
Norman added, quietly but sincerely, “Welcome to the family… in your own way, Liz.”
Liz’s eyes softened, touched by the sincerity. “Thank you. I hope… I can be part of this crazy, amazing family.”
Harry laughed, squeezing her hand. “You already are.”
And for the first time that day, the penthouse felt warmer, fuller, and even more like a home—not just a place of training, chaos, or missions, but a place where hearts could connect and families could grow.
Yeah—this would click really nicely, and for a pretty specific reason: you’re pairing two high-energy communicators who express themselves differently.
If Teresa (with that Kath Soucie / Pebbles Flintstone vibe) is fast, enthusiastic, and hyper-competent, then a Peter Parker in the lane of Drake Bell or Josh Keaton brings:
Quick wit and playful teasing
Big-brother warmth
That classic “I’m joking, but I’m also watching out for you” energy
So instead of clashing, they’d sync up rhythm-wise:
Teresa talks fast → Peter keeps up and riffs on it
Teresa plans everything → Peter pokes fun but secretly trusts it
Peter jokes → Teresa fires right back instead of getting flustered
And since he’s the older cousin, the dynamic becomes less “grounding her” (like David does) and more:
👉 Playful chaos + affectionate supervision
Why it works so effortlessly
Neither kills the other’s energy Peter doesn’t slow Teresa down—he rides the wave
Mutual intelligence He recognizes she’s sharp, so the teasing never feels patronizing
Built-in warmth Family dynamic = he can joke harder, but also protect more openly
Think less “mentor/student” and more:
“You’re a lot… but you’re my lot.”
Quick sample moment
Peter leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, watching Teresa zip back and forth like she’d had three coffees too many. “So,” he said casually, “what version of the plan are we on now? Five? Six?” “Three,” Teresa shot back instantly, not even looking at him. “Version Four was inefficient.” “Ah, yes. Tragic loss.”
She spun toward him, pointing a pen like a weapon. “It was, actually. We were going to hit the bakery after the lunch rush—do you have any idea what that would’ve done to wait times?”
Peter raised both hands. “Hey, I respect the science.” “You should,” she said, then narrowed her eyes. “You’re mocking me.” “A little,” he admitted. She huffed—then smirked. “Good. That means you’re paying attention.”
That got a grin out of him. “Oh, I’m always paying attention. Someone’s gotta make sure you don’t accidentally schedule us into another dimension.” “Please,” Teresa scoffed. “If we end up in another dimension, it’ll be because of you.” “…Okay, that’s fair.” She tried not to laugh. Failed.
Peter pushed off the wall, stepping beside her. “So what’s my role in this highly sophisticated operation?” Teresa handed him a folded paper. “Snack carrier.” He looked down at it. “…I walked right into that, didn’t I?” “Completely.” Peter shook his head, but he was smiling—soft, fond, unmistakably proud. “Alright, Cousin Commander,” he said. “Lead the way.” And just like that, they were off—her energy setting the pace, his humor shaping it, both of them perfectly in sync.
✨ Scene One: Harry Osborn Brags About His Mom (Extremely Awkwardly)
Peter Parker was having what he thought was a normal day. That illusion died the moment Harry Osborn sat down across from him in the lab cafeteria with the intensity of someone about to overshare.
Harry: “So… uh… my mom’s cooler than yours.” Peter blinked. “Wow. Okay. Hi to you too, Harry.”
Harry waved a hand. “No, I mean—like—objectively. She can fly. And shoot energy. And she once disarmed a mercenary with a serving tray.”
Peter stared. “…Your mom?”
Harry nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah! Karla. You’ve met her. Moonstone. Meteorite. Dr. Sofen. Therapist. Tactical genius. Emotional support powerhouse.”
Peter’s brain visibly short-circuited. “Harry,” he said carefully, “your dad once tried to conquer Manhattan with a glider.” “And my mom stopped him from doing it again,” Harry shot back, proud. “Also she makes really good eggs. Like—really good. Perfectly seasoned. Emotionally supportive and nutritious.”
Peter pinched the bridge of his nose. “You’re bragging about your supervillain stepmom’s breakfast skills.” Harry leaned in, lowering his voice. “She calls me kiddo.” Peter froze. “…Oh.” “And,” Harry continued, cheeks pink, “when I panic, she talks me down. And she trained me in controlled chaos. And she once threatened a guy who looked at me funny.”
Peter stared at him for a long moment. “…She threaten him how?” Harry smiled fondly. “Professionally.” Peter exhaled slowly. “Okay. I don’t like how much this sounds like… actual parenting.” Harry grinned. “Right?! I know it’s weird but—she chose me. Like. Actively.”
Peter softened despite himself. “Yeah… okay. That part’s not weird. That part’s… good.” Harry beamed. “I knew you’d get it.” Peter sighed. “I hate that I do.”
✨ Scene Two: Thunderbolts Mission — Karla Leads, Harry Watches, Norman Realizes
The Thunderbolts stood poised on the edge of a crumbling offshore facility. Moonstone hovered at the front, glowing faintly in the night air, her posture confident and composed.
Karla (over comms): “Alright. Listen up. We go clean, efficient, minimal collateral. Objective first, egos last.”
Shockingly, everyone listened.
Harry observed from a secure vantage point, heart racing—not from fear, but from awe. He watched Karla command the team with ease: precise orders, adaptive strategy, absolute control without cruelty.
She wasn’t dominating. She was leading.
Below, the mission unfolded flawlessly. When things went sideways—as they always did—Karla adjusted instantly, shielding teammates, redirecting fire, pulling people out of danger without hesitation.
Norman watched from the transport craft, arms folded. Not with scrutiny. With pride. He saw the way Karla checked the perimeter twice—once for threats, once unconsciously toward Harry’s position. He saw how she never lost awareness of where her son was, even while commanding a battlefield.
She leads like a mother, Norman realized. And she fights like one too.
The mission ended clean. No casualties. No unnecessary destruction. When Karla returned to the craft, Harry was already standing.
Harry: “You were amazing.”
Karla smiled—soft, tired, genuine. “You did good too. Stayed calm. Took notes.”
Norman stepped forward, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Norman (quietly): “You’ve turned this team into something better than I ever did.”
Karla glanced at him. “We all grow. Or we rot.”
Harry looked between them, then smiled. “Guess we grew.”
Norman laughed under his breath, emotion catching in his throat.
Once, this had been a house of fear, ambition, and ghosts.
Now?
It was strategy meetings over breakfast. Awkward bragging to superheroes. A son who felt safe. And a woman who chose them both.
Norman Osborn stood a little straighter.
We’ve come so far, he thought. And for the first time… I don’t want to go back.
