Just got into one hell of an argument with my teacher and got him in trouble because of something that literally didn't involve me at all LMAO

He was being a dick to my classmate who is the nicest girl ever and she started sobbing (he was basically threatening that she wouldn't get to graduate this august and would have to stay another school year)

Now I am like, a really good student- follow all the rules, get good grades, all my teachers like me etc

So ive never talked with my dad about my scars, but he knows I have some smaller ones on my forearms since I walk around the house in a T-shirt a lot. But hes never brought it up or anything.

This morning I was walking around in a tank top since id just woken up and hadn't got dressed, and my dad was at the house still because hes going into work late today. Now, I have some bigg scars on my shoulders that he hasn't seen so I was a little nervous.

He didn't say anything about them for like 30 minutes of conversation but right before he left for work he joked that if I work out and get buff shoulders my scars would look "sick as hell"

And thats just a silly joke ofc but it really signifies that he cares about me and doesnt care about my scars at all which means so so much I can't even explain it

I love my dad :')

Also he says he'll unofficially adopt all of my Tumblr friends with bad parents

Oh my god, im about to turn 18 (later this month) and just came to the realization im almost a year older than my mom was when she had her first child (had my big brother very shortly after turning 17)

She was a kid raising a kid. She gave up her dreams of college and of being an artist and architect for us

Oc idea:

Housecat that grows up into a tiger as a metaphor for trauma and self harm.

They had to be bigger and stronger from a young age, they had to grow bigger teeth and stronger jaws and a thicker hide to shelter them from the cold.
