this speaking as a cis person. Nothing brings me more joy seeing people find gender euphoria in becoming a mediocre representation of humanity. And I mean that so genuinely. this is speaking as a queer/trans person, and i agree. as occasionally funny as it can be to joke about that one skirt that so many trans women wear when they’re first trying out fem clothes, that one skirt makes them happy. as occasionally amusing as it is to poke fun at that one pixie-adjacent haircut that so many trans men get before fully coming out, that haircut makes them happy. there is always unbridled joy in mediocrity, because mediocrity is such for a reason. it’s “normal” and “average” because it makes so many people happy.
