Ok so I'm catching up on the Travelers' Tales and I got Wriothesley's this morning and oh yes, I am going to look at this through ship goggles
Quick run down for anyone who hasn't gotten this one: Traveler and Paimon show up at Wriothesleys office and see Pahsiv sitting at Wrio's desk, Traveler makes jokes about Wrio truing into a Melusines and then a Vishap when corrected by Paimon. Pahsiv explains in her own way that she was hungry and then saw a big bright light
Paimon and Traveler prepare to fix the hunger Issus when Wriothesley show up, Pahsiv refiring to him as "Wrio". Wriothesley puts down a bunch of Tidalga and makes a joke about being the one to go catch them and about being fine with it because he gets to go for a swim and see the otters. Wriothesley says that he managed to figure out Pahsiv was talking about Neuvillette when she was saying "New Valet" and has already sent for him to come pick up his child. Traveler and Paimon start to explain that Pahsiv is a Vishap but are quickly interrupted by Neuvi showing up, once he show's up Neuvi explains what's up with Pahsiv and we find out that the big light Pahsiv was talking about was the search lights on the Fortress and that a few Guards had garbed her while she was looking at the Tidalga, Wriothesley says hell talking with the fontaine research institute about add a way to tell what the search light are picking up and then everyone says goodbye and all head out
So first up Pahsiv is back! I love her so much her and Xavier are tied for my favorite NPC so I love seeing more of her
I also love how as soon as she brings up being hungry Wriothesley goes to find her some food
Wriothesley managing to pick out that Pahsiv was talking about Neuvillette is just cute to me
idk I just love this shot, I love when their in the same frame
Wriothesley saying that any time Neuvilette shows up is the perfect time like I see you dude
This line omg, Neuvillette has a history of viewing himself as separate from everyone else due to him being the Hydro Dragon, and while he made progress in seeing himself as part of humanity at the end of his story quest there was still this barrier that he had put up
This line though, it;s not so much that Neuvillette has put down his walls but that he's let someone else in, "Since there are no outsiders here, I'll get right to the point" Is Neuvillette directly viewing Wriothesley as someone on the same level as him
So like Wrio defiantly know right? What Neuvi really is? That scene during the archon quest where Wriothesley says "Wow… So what's your secret, hmm? Let me guess… Eh who knows, maybe it's just your sense of responsibility" while low-key checking Neuvi out was him teasing him. Wriothesley know and he's chill with it, good for him.
I remember back during the start of Wriolette shipping seeing people talk about the concept of Neuvillette finding some way to grant immortality to Wriothesley and weather or not Wriothesley would be chill with that and I think this is the answer , Wriothesley would deficiently be fine with being made immortal.
She's just so cute, I love her
