oh my god i’m so tired psychotic does not mean violent it does not mean angry or erratic. it refers to a person suffering from psychosis, a loss of touch with reality that includes hallucinations and/or delusions. psychotic people are not inherently violent and y'all need to understand how much stigma you create when you again and again incorrectly use the word psychotic without even thinking about it

Hi! Recently found out about Candies 'n Curses through virtue of another game including some of its soundtrack. I've only reached up to layer 3 (the Undead Library, I believe it's called) and I'm already captivated by the story (and honestly have been ever since that intro)

Honestly my main bit of advice for beginners is just to experiment with stuff and see what you like

The only context in which you really need more specific setups is high level speedrunning so for everything else you should just do what you find fun, which like you can only find out by trying various things.
