Nargis Fakhri as Heer Kaul

Heer Kaul is the character that has been a part of me since the day i watched Rockstar in 2014. After that whenever i rewatched that movie i watched it only because of Heer, the cheerful Kashmiri girl who fell in love with the the lost, indecisive boy name Janardhan, later she named him Jordan and it wasn’t just love it was like a prayer where she wanted Jordan till her last breath. I watch it as Heer’s story because Jordan would’ve never been made if there was no Heer and her love. Imtiaz Ali’s female characters are so poetically written that you cannot help but fall in love with them and Heer is one of them. I know many people like to say that Nargis Fakhri was ill-fitted for a character like Heer but honestly i do not care what other people thinks, you can say whatever you want about Nargis’ acting i won’t even defend her but she as Heer was perfect and i can’t imagine anyone as Heer other than Nargis.
