"Are you sure? I kind of know that lie all too well and it appears liek you are the opposite of that.”

"You really take relaxing seriously huh?" She said with a laugh. "No need to worry, though, I've retired so there’ll be none of that tonight. Zombies have gotten old."

“No, no - good lord, if you punch like that, you’re going to do more damage to yourself than your opponent,”  Dean let out a groan, shaking her head. Her slender fingers ran through her hair, a frustrated sigh escaping the girl’s break, “just, take a break. we’ll go again in a few minutes.”

"Alright, alright! I'm sorry!" Alondra stopped her movements abruptly and in defeat at her word. "Not an excuse at all but my head was somewhere else. It's been a crazy week, you know?"

“Eh, I’m off the clock. I could give two shits about what you do.” Charlie shrugged as he tossed back his first shot.

"So I guess you won't mind when I go raise an army of the dead?" She joked, shaking her head before also taking a shot.

“Her back probably hates her right now. Do you think she grew used to that pain? How does she even stand up form her bed in the morning?”

“Most definitely, and not only that but just having to put so much pressure on your back for everything... I bet that’s a killer. I’d hate to be her so it’s good I’m happy with mine.”

“If I’m honest, it wouldn’t have been the first time I’ve put myself in such a situation.”

Alondra chuckled at the picture and shook her head. "I wonder how much her back appreciates them."

"I honestly never realized jaywalking could be such a problem here. My bad."

“By all means, do take a seat, it’s not like I have a desk full of paperwork waiting for me, or anything.” Mattie said, rolling her eyes. “Is there something I can help you with?”

"I just wanted to inquire something, I didn't realize I would be such a burden. I could come back at some other time? If you'd like."
