Notes on learning (yesss) and prparing for a speech today. Im gonna cover dying hair unusual colors since I've been doing that for like 10 years (go gramma!)
Im also going to start bleaching my hair to prepare for seeing if overtone is really that good. cross my fingers my hair wont just give up and i can fix it with some egg in my shampoo and coconut oil
Welcome to the space age, ladies and gentlemen
This is really quite a big deal. A tremendous amount of modern research ends up being sold to journals which require unreasonable payments to access it and only pay the original authors a pittance. It’s nice to see an agency like NASA deliberately widebanding its findings.
Not sure if people fully realize just how big of a deal this is. THIS is how science is advanced. Not through biased corporate research, business secrets, marketing, paywalls and patent wars. But through open, uncensored and unrestricted public access to knowledge.

NASA IS GOOD, NASA IS GREAT
@osunism
NASA is the hero we don’t deserve.
This deserves every reblog.
@geh-is-okeh
In the face of institutions being silenced, this is doubly huge.
I love seeing that, for once, there are more reblogs than likes
Keep passing on this info, guys. Good job

So i started an argument on facebook about climate change and ended it with a massive post about how over 7 years i had to research it for class. should i screen shot and (after blocking out everything) share it here? it wouldnt be like these posts, it would be on my main blog probably and reblogged here. but give me feedback!!
September 24th 2019 (10/100 Days of Productivity)
So I've been having a rough time in my personal life. But I distracted myself with doodles, a cute guy and making a speech on how to dye hair (since I've been doing it for a decade)
September 19th 2019 (9/100 Days of Productivity)
actually went into my school's library today before class to look over the text for Psychology. I've been a little sick and my classes were covering things i already knew so i havent gone in for a few days but im back baby
imm rereading boy meets boy because i need something to do on the bus a d i havent gotten to my local library in a bit (which is a crime i live like 5 minutes walk away) but ehhh
students as months of the year
january: fresh journals, black and white notes, bullet journals filled with motivational quotes, cold brew coffee, loves writing letters, finishes everything on time, a daydreamer, seems laid back but really they’re stressed about everything
february: doodles in the margins of notes, the person who lends you their pens, sloppy handwriting, loves motivational speeches and classical music, finishes easy assignments early but writes their essay the night before its due,
march: straight A’s, study playlists, the teachers favorite, color coded notes, everyone thinks they’re naturally smart (but really they’re spending every night studying), forgets to eat sometimes, hasn’t slept for what feels like years
april: open windows, listening to the rain and thunder, tea pots full of earl grey, a functionally messy desk, fairy lights, always losing their pens, a huge nerd, afraid to raise their hand in class in case their answer is wrong
may: cramming for tests, lives in the library, highlighters and sticky notes everywhere, drinks espresso, would definitely consider bringing their coffee pot to school, messy desk, if an assignment is due at 9:00 they’ll submit it at 8:59
june: late nights, smoothies for breakfast, hanging out with friends, takes notes on their laptop, minimalist, organized, says they’re studying but they’re actually on studyblr, tries to study everything at once and gets distracted
july: staying up late to read, learning new languages, focuses on the learning and not the grade, watches documentaries for fun, loves the classics, owns a thousand pens, takes studyspo pictures, hundreds of unread emails,
august: stationery shopping, getting ahead in class, iced drinks, spending weekends with friends, takes very little notes but does well in class anyways, a relaxed personality, healthy snacks, the master of self care
september: a morning person, new pens and folders, a perfectionist, audio records classes and re-writes notes, over works themselves, loves the smell of new books, competitive, “i’m gonna fail!” but ends up getting A’s and B’s
october: chai lattes in travel mugs, will study for three days straight and then not study for a week, snacking in class, uses washi tape and stickers, sleeps for eight hours but is tired anyways, terrible at accepting compliments
november: gratitude journals, mental health days, the baristas at their local cafe know their name because they’re always studying there, study groups, loves to travel but never travels, cinnamon in their drinks, trouble sleeping, sweet smiles
december: hot chocolate, wrapped in a fluffy blanket, says they don’t care about grades but panics when they get less than a B, to-do lists, tutors their friends, watches movies in their free time, vanilla candles

Hello studybloggers! Since i don’t have any classes anymore and i got more leisure time, i decided to study/ artwork as well. So here i serve you my newly made brain diagram as i study the nervous system. I sketch, paint and did the labelling in the end. I am so happy to be back here and being able to share contents to all of you! I know that school can be so time consuming but please, give time for yourself as well. You should also learn how to prioritise yourself or else you’ll get burn-out (which happened to me). Wish you all a goodluck for your school exams! Stay hydrated friends! You can do this. 🤗
i guess what ppl dont tell u about college is that is a very lonesome period of ur life. and that doesnt mean like u wont have lots of friends or u wont party or whatever but ur going to spend so much time alone. like cooking by yourself and studying n homework and driving and going to classes like……… its just you sometimes. and the trick is to use that time by yourself to relax and understand YOU better and iron out your own wants n wishes instead of wallowing
note-taking for one of my online classes. i’ve been using my iPad Pro for notes, but it’s a lot more useful to use it for my orgo class than my other ones. so i found this little notebook that was a gift a couple years ago so i didn’t have to carry around a big notebook. :)
august 19th 2019 — day 1/100 days of productivity went well. i never studied this hard i think. i mean yes, for my master’s thesis but it’s been years! who knew i still have this thirst for knowledge inside of me? anyway, i’m done for the day, i’m gonna read the miseducation of cameron post ^^ have a lovely day!
