thinking about when i was trying to get my dad interested in warframe by showing him teshin, because samurai are deeply compelling to the average weeb dad and he was hooked instantly with the promise of cool samurai. and days later i was telling him about how warframe has a lot different side genres, told him about the dating sim later in the game thinking he would just think it's funny, and his response was "wait i can date teshin later? that's awesome" and i thought he was joking. but learning he can't date teshin made him immediately lose all interest in warframe. my dad won't touch warframe anymore because he can't date teshin
