Maybe i’m biased but I dont like when The Rock, has to play dramatic roles, I prefer him ass kicking, like he did in Fast and Furious 7. However I guess they mixed enough stunts and daring moves in that I was pleased. This is a great movie, and definitely food for thought, how ready are you for natural disasters, and if you’re not affected because of them, what are you willing to do to help those who were?  An entire city or more so coast was affected by this quake in the movie, and the destruction was devastating, what if this were to happen ?

Date Night with the little cousin, Nikki and I went to watch Aloha at the newly renovated Rainbow Promenade 10. First things first, these seats are amazing, and they’re so comfy!! Second, the movie. Bradley Cooper was as handsome and charming as ever with his smile, Rachel McAdams was darling as always, and Emma Stone played an interesting character but she had a lot of passion. I would have preferred this movie to be a litte more on the chick flick side, and if it were so I probably would have enjoyed it more, however it focused more the on he military side for the story. A good movie but not that great.

Bae said I got super tan in San Diego, I like to disagree ((regardless of whether he’s right or wrong)). This was taken just before we wen’t out for Date Night, where we watched Pitch Perfect 2 again. Maybe i’m too into my emotions, but when Fat Amy was singing to Bumper, I cried, i just thought it was beautiful.  What can I say? I love love.

Because it was so cute that it needed its own post! This was one of the animals that we saw at San Diego Zoo yesterday, and what you might not know about the picture is that baby hippo is learning how to swim, and go up for air, and big hippo is teaching them. Baby hippo is tossing, turning, and wiggling around underwater, and Big hippo is pushing them along and trying to keep them level. P r e c i o u s <3 This is the kind of stuff that can  m e l t  your heart.

We spent Sunday at San Diego Zoo~ While I did miss the Fiance, I cannot stress how nice it was to be in California with such good company. We saw all sorts of animals, but of course my favorite was the Giraffes <3 Because Giraffes are bae<3

YAY! These are the lovely ladies that I went on vacation with, on the left is Hannah and then myself in the middle, and on the right is Chelsey. We took that picture at the aquarium, just after our news broadcasts~ The second picture there is the view from the patio of the aquarium, and it took me back, to when I went to the Amalfi Coast. Maybe its my shotty kid memory but personally the resemblance is uncanny. We went to the beach and relaxed under that warm California sun, I listened to music and started reading the book “Lead Me Not,” i’ll let you know how that going later xD. Then we ended the night at a nice little bar in Gas Lamp, that hand so much dancing and mingling it could also be confused for a club? Except the lights were on, and it wasnt dark at all, plus there were games? Thats weird right? Maybe because i’m from club infested Las Vegas that this just seemed like a really crowded bar. The crazy part is that half the people in here were dressed in top tier club clothing, dolled up from head to toe, then at the same time the other half was all in jeans and jean shorts, tshirts, completely casual. Adding to that crazyness the music was some really old throw backs like “Hot n Herre” to recent country hits like “Country Girl Shake it For Me” an interesting mix. Something you’d rarely catch in Vegas.

Went to Caifornia this weekend, spent most of the time at the beach~ However we did stop in at this haunted house, “The Whaley House” It was definitely ominous xD~ And creaky, and made me anxious but that not what this picture is about. It was this tiny little fact that I found fascinating, because i like innovation even in its smallest forms. What youre looking at here is the Whaleys’ living room, but notice the wall paper, each little decal has a reflective quality. Back in the day they didnt have electricity yet, so the decals would reflect the light from the candles that were lit and spread the light to fill the whole room. GENIUS!

Watched Poltergeist with the girls, you could imagine the concept, quite similar to the other one.  Wasn’t as good as some of the other “scary” movies I’ve seen, didn’t do too hott in its’ ratings either.  Had a couple good scare scenes, but it could have been much better. I kind of like when Scary movies don’t get the happy ending, and its like the story goes on, not so they can make another movie, but so you keep thinking about it, there was no resolution, no way to solve it. Sort of like how they ended Occulus, I really liked that movie.

Driving though Colorado, and this little view took me back. [[crazy how seeing something triggers memories]] Back to little 18 year old me, who was in love with Edward Cullen ((book version of course)) and I would have become a Vampire or stayed human for him, whatever he wanted! Just pick me up and lets run through the forest !

Family, thats what it all comes down to, the people you love, and the ones who love you. Maybe the family you were born into wasn't everything you hoped for, but you can create or find the family you need. Personally, my family, while plentiful, and overbearing are also supportive, understanding, and FULL of love. Here are my parents with my nephew, who hasn't the slightest idea of exactly how big the support system he has is, we've all got your back little guy, no matter how far away we are.

Allegiant Pg 372, last paragraph. Nothing has ever hit home so close before, this was perfect. Kel & I fight, usually behind closed doors (because no one, NO ONE should ever see your dirty laundry) but our fights aren't the kind that leave you questioning your choices, questioning the path your on, or questioning the relationship. These are the kind of fights you either walk away as better people, or agree to disagree but understand where the other person is coming from; those are the only ways a fight should end. The boys who fight with you, apologize, and continuing having variations of the same fight are not the right ones for you. No matter how good looking they are, how sweet they are, or how in love with them you are. Find the boy who makes you better, and be the girl who makes him better in return.
