Saw Iron Lung about two weeks ago and it ignited this spark in me, telling me that I had to create something in its honor IMMEDIATELY. The movie was absolutely amazing and I am so happy that I got to see Mark on the big screen :))))

it's so important to me that if you headcanon grace as an autistic queer person you also need to understand that this recontextualizes his experiences with not being listened to. you need to understand this as part of a bigger pattern, that his autonomy was likely being disregarded for as long as he's been alive and that being dismissed is a systemic injury. that his crash out and subsequent exile from academia was likely a result of being told over and over and over again that his opinion did not matter and that he's doing something wrong by doing something differently. you need to understand that this makes stratt's decision one million times more devastating (in the best fucking way ever)
