Pretend DC Rebirth did not exist and did not saddle them with whatever the hell their dynamic was in that comic, and Steph and Lonnie in their prime would’ve been so interesting to play off of each other. From Lonnie brooding over the possibility he could be related to the Joker to Steph actually being related to Cluemaster, their dynamics with Batman, their relationship to vigilantism and why they do what they do and how Steph evolves over time… even if they didn’t date I feel like Lonnie would have the hugest crush on Steph in her Batgirl era. I’d go into more detailed analysis but I’m on the clock. IYKYK. Very interesting potential comparisons and contrasts.
