Pet Therapy
Clint was starting to regret his decision to bring Lucky all the way into the city without calling to make sure anyone would actually be at the tower first, but no, everyone complained that they never got to see him and then they had the nerve to not be there.
Not wanting to subject Lucky to another elevator ride so soon (that had been an unpleasant experience for both of them. Too much bark, not enough space), he flopped down on a common room sofa and Lucky hopped up and joined him, big doggy head immediately in his lap for skritchins.
It was a half hour later, when Clint was starting to doze that Lucky gave a couple excited yips and jumped off the couch, running across the room to harass whoever had just walked in.
“Lucky, down!” he ordered, getting up to save some unwitting soul from extensive doggy kisses.
Bucky was hardly expecting the blur of blonde fur that launched itself at him, going wide eyed and making a strangled noise as their bodies collided. The man was subjected instantly to licks, trying to somehow get out of the reach of the dog or somehow get enough distance to catch up. Somewhere in the back of his head, he’d remembered Steve mentioning that Clint had a dog... though if this was the same he had no idea of knowing. Giving a soft laugh, Bucky finally gave up from where he sat on the floor, petting the dog who didn’t show any signs of letting up in his loving, even as Clint’s voice rang out.
