So, you decided to rejoin Tumblr

I had 32k posts on here, and a LOT of them just don't fit who I am anymore. So I deleted everything and started fresh!

I am Jen, and welcome to my tumblr. I am 42 years old, I live in Auburn WA (south of Seattle), I'm married and have 3 cats. I have a lot of tattoos, but you wouldn't know during the colder months.

I work for a video game music record label in Seattle as the Events Director. I travel to different comic cons and anime conventions for work.

I love video games and video game music, movies, cats, and collecting things I don't need. I have a large collection of video game consoles, video games, Funko Pops, and vinyl records.

My favorite video game series are Uncharted and Last of Us. My favorite voice actors are Ashley Johnson, Troy Baker, and Nolan North.

I'll try to stay up to date on using this thing, and share all the cool places I get to visit for work!

Fuck Meta. I can't post anything for a week for no reason. I can't comment on anything either. I have already reported it and can't get any fucking help. I am so sick of this shit. Customer support doesn't exist.

East Coast trips are so hard for me because of the time difference. Right now it's 12:43. Which means at home it's 9:43. I might be in bed at home by now, but it's unlikely. I'm waking up in 8 hours, which would be before 6am for me, which is not a time I'm usually awake (unless I'm traveling).

I can't ever adjust to the change and usually get zero good sleep and it's frustrating. I missed a good concert tonight because I wanted to take it easy. I'll just be exhausted the next two days because the fomo is real.

I'm usually pretty optimistic, and I'm fucking terrified of all the bullshit that is going to start tomorrow. There's already been so much bs, it's only going to get worse. I am so tired of this.

The first event I will be attending for work this year is Super MAGFest! MAGFest is a music and gaming festival that takes place in National Harbor near Washington DC in January of every year. I will be spending a lot of time in the Marketplace selling video game music for my company, and the rest of my time will likely be spent in POSE nightclub, listening to my friends spin the best in dance and game music.

I am not looking forward to the cold, but I am looking forward to reconnecting with people!
