i’m dying to know how rebecca is doing now that her shiki is a “kinda hot grownup” too

I'm still not over the last chapter and there is so much. So let's take a closer look.

Shiki was the only one to touch the red thread. Rebecca never touched it.

When the thread got bound to Shiki it automatically reached out to Rebecca and Rebecca alone. Maybe Ijuna did that on purpose or maybe it reached out for his soulmate. (I hope we will get some clarity on that in chapters to come).

After this chapter I'm convinced that Rebecca is in love with him. She might not know it but I do.

Look at her. She's leaning towards him. It looks like she's standing on her tiptoes. Her pupils are dilated and the look she has on her face.

Also the diolouge. Shiki asked her why was she staring at him, not realizing he was staring at her too. Rebecca did realize she was staring at him and she knew why.

"I can't hold back any longer" That means she was holding back before. She has feelings for him but she acts like its no big deal.

Shiki couldn't figure out what he was feeling but Rebecca knew. He wasn't sure what would come next, she did. She was talking the lead here.

And then we come to the angst part.

It looks like both of them were furious. But we both know both of them especially Shiki can do much worse. One thing to notice here is that neither of them used ether gear. Using eather gear is second nature to Shiki. Yet they didn't use it.

We know that at least on some level they knew they were being controlled. So maybe that's why neither of them used ether gear. Because on some level they knew they didn't want to hurt each other.

It also means there is a chance that both of them were also aware of their romantic moments on some level.

So how much do you wanna bet that the shows male and female lead, whose pasts are a mystery to us are also going to be connected?

There is something with them. Some connection. I can feel it.
